Een goed begin. Hoewel een lichtelijk hectische autorit vanaf het vliegveld, werden we beloond met een schitterend huis, zowel van binnen als van buiten dank zij onze zorgzame gastheer Antonio, die ons verder in de week doeltreffend antwoord gaf op al onze vragen. De buitenkeuken hebben we meteen dankbaar gebruik van gemaakt. De volgende dag rustig aan begonnen in de heerlijke ligstoelen en in de hangmatten en genoten van het uitzicht op zee, waar af en toe ineens eilandjes uit opdoemen. Om naar het strand te gaan hoefden we gelukkig niet naar het drukke Cefalu, maar konden we simpelweg 'onze' berg afrijden, naar Sant'Ambrogio, met een paar leuke en rustige strandjes. Terre di Bea ligt ook nog eens aan het begin van het prachtige Parco delle Madonie, waar we een paar mooie stadjes bezochten. En natuurlijk bezochten we ook Palermo. Lekker rustig op zondag met de trein vanaf Cefalu, kom je direct aan in het oude centrum. We hadden een heerlijke week. Te kort om bijvoorbeeld de opgravingen in Sicilië te bezoeken. En te vroeg om paddenstoelen te zoeken in de bergen. We moeten dus echt nog een keer terug. Tot dan, Antonio! ##### Cornelia S. If you choose Terre Di Bea Cottage , you will be covered with care and attention up to the smallest detail. Don’t hesitate because you are a bit away from the busy Town Of Cefalu' , you will be rewarded by the most serene and relaxing atmosphere surrounded by heavenly Mediterranean garden and the most stunning view of the sea !!!!! You will find an over complete housing with very well equipped kitchen-veranda and nature style bathroom rain -shower. There is lots of space, very private and the entire villa only for yourself ,perfect for family with joung childern , The view outside is breathtakingly amazing and staring out you can feel one with the sea. By only 10 minutes by car you will be in to the active and sparkling heart of the old city. You must try one of the restaurants with tables by the sea side! You will find more restaurants than you can choose from. All in all a wonderful experience for a short or longer stay. Have a great time there ! Very cool inside and well designed , the bedroom very comfortable with a great bed California inn style , wonderful matrimonial rain massage shower . SUPERB HOST !! We booked the EcoLodge for a night . It was great decision. The lodge is located in secluded area, few kilometers from Cefalu. It was exacly what we were looking for. The view is absolutely amazing. The property is very well kept and equiped. We loved the decor, with lots of Sicilian accents! We didnt miss anything(after long day of sightseeing, hamaks were great:)) Costumer service was at the highest level. The host, were looking after us from the very beginning. Before we even went to Sicila he has Sent us all necessery informator about the city, best supermarket, places to eat/visit. These days, when there is so many places to stay at, great Costumer service is something that really makes the difference. Our overall rate is 10/10:) ##### MARY s. ### 10/10 Excellent #### enrico m. 18 Apr 2018 #### A GEM IN THE MEDITERRANEAN SEA Upon arrival we were welcomed with a basket of fresh fruit and chilled wine !!!!!! the property was above our wildest expectation !!!!!! romantic setting in the middle of a pine ridge forest with and incredible view of the tyrrenian sea and the Eolian isles !!!! truly paradise !!!! the house inside is rich with local artist decors , mantaining a rustic sicilian ancient charm !!!! the manager offered us the opportunity to have a private chef to prepare for us an incredible dinner with fresh local seafood that it was a magnificant treat !!!!! Terre di Bea also provived the opportunities to enjoy local tours of winery , artist studious , horseback riding , and fishing villages !!! we will definately be back !!!!!! it was an incredible journey !!!!! thank you for your superb hospitality !!!! ##### enrico m. ---
