Andrea was incredibly helpful and friendly and responded promptly to our messages. Location is excellent and close to airport shuttle bus. Breakfast was excellent with freshly made croissants daily. Room was a little noisy in the morning as it overlooked the daily street market. Overall we had a wonderful stay and would stay again if we return to Catania

Wonderful location. Wonderful host Andrea. Beautiful big room and yes it has AC. Very centrally located so heart of Catania in a well kept place! One group member did have accessibility needs so was on first floor but few flights of steps. But just amazing B&B!

Great location & view, but it was pretty loud around the clock. Bring ear plugs to block the street noise and eye mask to block the light emitted from the a/c unit on the ceiling.

Our host Andrea went above and beyond. The breakfast was fresh and delicious. He helped us park our car and carried our luggage up the stairs. The rooms are perfectly located in the old town. Andrea’s restaurant recommendations were great.

We had such a great stay! The location couldn't have better, Andrea was incredibly accommodating with our check-in, holding our bags, setting up the sauna and even leaving me a surprise gift for my birthday :) would love to return!

Great location - Situated near Piazza Stesicoro, the property is adjacent to the Monument to Vincenzo Bellini and within walking distance of the Catania Amphitheatre. The surrounding neighborhood offers a wide selection of excellent dining options. The room we stayed in features a balcony that is ideal for people-watching, and the bathroom is quite spacious.

The property is well located with easy access to all sorts of amenities in the city's centro. The owner, Andrea, is very sociable and extremely helpful. He was present every morning to serve breakfast and offer advice and helpful tips on how to navigate through Catania's complex street system. During our stay in early September, given the heat at 30 degrees everyday, air conditioning in our room was a blessing. Parking was available in an enclosed ground level secure section of the Palazzo complex. A small sized refrigerator was enough to keep our water bottles and and small amount of provisions cold. Unlike other Air B and B s we stayed at, we were impressed the bed linen and towels were changed and the the room and washroom was cleaned every day....did not not expect that! It is a very clean environment and fresh looking despite the age of the palazzo. The only down side -however insignificant- is that a box of tissue paper could have been provided...then again at two other Air B&Bs we stayed at in Sicily the same was true...no tissue paper. We enjoyed our stay and highly recommend the Toscana Palace, very clean and bright over looking Piazzia Bellini.

Great place to stay the night when visiting Catania. The host is super kind and always there if you need help or directions to places you want to visit. The morning breakfasts were an amazing highlight. The room is big and has AC. Wonderful time there and would book again next time in town!

The Toscano & Andrea were wonderful from the moment I arrived. The entrance was a little hard to find at first, but once realizing it was hidden behind a set of massively cool, old wooden doors (which I found is common there), Andrea was there to meet me and carry my overpacked luggage up the stairs for me 😊. I loved the charm of the old building, with it still being very nice accommodations. The room was very spacious and clean with a big window and balcony that overlooked Piazza Stesicoro. It also had a private hot tub which was relaxing after a full day of exploring. Andrea, the host, was amazing. He communicated with me prior to arriving to confirm my arrival time. Once there, he explained everything about the room and provided a map and info about the area including the little train you can catch right outside the B&B that will give you a tour of Catania landmarks. Breakfast was on your time, as he asked what time you would like to have breakfast and he had it ready for you in the reception area (and I found it very good!). He also sent recommendations for dinner locations, answered any questions you had, arranged for airport transfers (for 3am), and provided his contact information to be available via text at any time during your stay. Close and walkable to all the markets, restaurants, landmarks, etc. Being a solo female traveler to a country where I did not speak the language, I felt very safe and Andrea made it a wonderful experience & would definitely stay again!

Very accommodating

Very clean room and extremely helpful staff. They were very accommodating and helpful in arranging a ride from the airport. Since our flight did not arrive until 11:30 p.m. and by the time we left the airport, it was almost 12:30 a.m.. most hotels were not accepting people to check in at that time. They were very accommodating.

This B&B has a great location, You can walk anywhere you want to go. The room was clean, spacious, and very comfortable. The shower had great pressure and the towels were luxurious. The host was friendly and accommodating. Since it is in the center of town, it got a bit noisy at night, especially on the weekend. Earplugs were provided, but the music from the street below was very noticeable. Also, be prepared for a bit of a climb - there are three flights of stairs to reach the room. The breakfast was a variety of pastries and some fruit but not much more which was disappointing as it was the same breakfast every day. Overall it is a nice place but not luxurious.

We stayed at Toscano Palace Luxury Rooms Catania for 5 days. Our host Andrea was amazing! So helpful with everything from busses to where to eat. The breakfast was so good every morning. Fresh pastries and fruit were plenty. Our room overlooked the square below. So much action everyday and into the evening. It was always fun people watching from the two balconies. Our room was very clean and air conditioning worked very well considering the 38 degrees we had for the week. Again, what makes this place is the Host Andrea. He was simply amazing and kind.
