This is the place to stay if you are visiting Cat Ba. This boutique hotel truly lives up to its name and the staff make the stay extra special. Centrally located so restaurants and adventures are on the doorstep. Excellent breakfast. We also loved the stylish roof terrace where we could have our own drinks. Would love to stay again!

Happy hour means free beer, can’t complain. Met many other back packers and made many more friends. Great host!

There is nothing bad I can say about this Homestay we enjoyed everything about it. Food promise staff, room, pool, location next to the bus stop, tours, etc!

This home stay was lovely - relaxing and beautiful. The hosts were so kind and nice. They made us lunch when we checked in which was delicious! The dinner was also great (250k pax charge) with lots of fish and shellfish dishes. Breakfast was huge as well! Very nice stay, we wish we had a little longer to explore but our flight was delayed.

We stayed for 2 days and 1 night in March 2026 and had a truly memorable experience. The cruise felt refined, well-organised and very comfortable, with beautiful views throughout the journey. The cabin was elegant and spacious, the food was very good, and the service was attentive without being intrusive. The crew made everything feel smooth and effortless, which allowed us to simply relax and enjoy the scenery. A premium and well-executed way to experience Ha Long Bay. Highly recommended.

Staff super friendly. Laundry cheap and fast. Luggage storage. After we checked out we went kayaking and when we returned to collect our bags we were offered a room and towels to get showers and changed. Excellent service. Thank you.

Amazing host. Can't give my compliments enough to Dat. He cared for each of us like we were a member of his family and I can say to any traveller you will always be in safe hands. He knows all the best spots to go and has access to some of the best restaurants on the island. On top of this the hotel was modern, clean and the restaurants food was incredible. I literally can't think of a single issue with Seoul 2.

Tallest building in town with a great rooftop bar and pool for sunsets. Despite a few negative reviews on here, I found it fine. Getting a little dated, but perfectly acceptable. Great location in the middle of the strip. You can probably get cheaper or a nicer place but overall this will be a tough combo to beat.

This was a great little place to stay on Cat Ba. When we went it was just the start of the tourism season, and there were a lot of building works next door. The layout of the hotel is lovely but there are a LOT of stairs - ours ended up on the 4th floor with no lift available! The staff very kindly took our luggage up and down however but this is important to note! The breakfast is ok, nothing special, and doubtful they make it fresh when you order - I think they cook it that morning and leave...
