Terrific room. they upgraded us as soon as we arrived out of the blue. Location is perfect. Parking: don't overthink it. there is one parking garage South of the city and one North. just park at the Porta de Catania parking garage and walk the six minutes to this hotel.

Excellent throughout. Close enough to enjoy the city center (15mins by car) and beach (20mins by car), without getting caught up in the hustle and bustle of crowds.

We chose this hotel as it was a bit outside of the main centers of Syracuse and Ortigia. However, we were disappointed that they did not allow us to check in early, even though it was only about an hour to check-in time. They held our luggage for us but then when we left to get lunch to pass time ...
