"Incredible location, stunning views and extensive garden grounds leading down to a good size swimming pool with hot shower and lots of seating options. Excellent for a quiet relaxing holiday. The location means travelling to surrounding areas due to the narrow hilly roads takes a lot longer than expected, our fault should have researched the area in more detail. House very well equipped, clean and comfortable. Host was very welcoming and helped us when needed."

"Castiglion del Bosco is truly exquisite, the perfect way to experience Tuscany in luxury while still feeling completely surrounded by nature. The property is impeccable, from the beautiful gardens and grounds to the elegant rooms. Everything feels authentically Italian, refined and incredibly well maintained. The service is exceptional and very personalized. The staff genuinely goes out of their way to make you feel welcome. General Manager Nicola Migheli even greeted us personally upon arrival, which was a lovely touch. We also saw him regularly walking the property with his team, and it was clear how hands-on he is with every detail. One thing to know is that getting in and out requires about 40 minutes on a bumpy dirt road. It wasn’t terrible, but worth mentioning if you plan to explore frequently. That said, this is a hotel you don’t need to leave. It’s a beautiful place to slow down, relax and enjoy Tuscany in a truly special setting. We absolutely loved our stay!"

"Brilliant rustic farmhouse set in the sleepy Tuscan hills. We were two couples and there was more than enough space for us, could have had a few more people with us and it would have been fine. Facilities were lovely, two nice sized bathrooms with good showers. A selection of outdoor areas to choose from as well as the private pool area which is just a couple minutes walk away overlooking olive trees and the hills. The host Marina was so sweet and came up every couple of days to check in. We will never forget our stay there and are considering coming back it was so nice. We made lifelong memories there, one of our favourite vacation stays ever."

"Die Lage war sehr schön.Die beiden Wohnungen waren sauber. Die Klimaanlagen haben uns gut durch die Hitze gebracht. Das Interieur war rustikal, aber durchaus schön. Die Küchen, besonders die Ausstattung müsste mal erneuert werden. Der Pool war gut - jedoch war die Kamera welche den Pool beobachtet irritierend.Die Betreuung vor Ort war sehr gut."

"Two important things were notable. The first was parking - the VRBO site advertised a garage, saying this was unusual for the area. There was no garage parking for cars, only a small lot that was usually full. Street parking was nearby. Second, we arrived about 7 pm on a Wednesday. There was nowhere to buy food to cook dinner or an open restaurant. The host tried to get a tavern to open for us without success. He told us that the only grocery store in town closes on Wednesdays. Our only option was to get in the car and drive for another 45 minute round trip to the closest open grocery store. If we were warned we could have easily dealt with this in advance.The tower itself is very unique, old, large, plenty of room, LOTS of stairs, Fun."
