"The hotel is excellent in every way. It is located just a short walk from the beautiful beach. The staff were wonderful and engaging. My room was immaculate and very quiet. Thee bed was la luxury on its own. Everything was spotlessly.clean. There is a rooftop area with drinks and tapas , with a great view of the sea and mountains. This was my first time in Cassis and I will definitely be back."

"Location near the Calanques was great as the hike literally starts in the backyard. As it’s not directly in Cassis itself, it’s an easy 5min drive into the town. Simple and clean room with a thoughtful layout, the AC was amazing during those hot days. Staff don’t particularly speak English, but super helpful and you can make out the tips and tricks he was giving us for the hike. Would recommend this place if you intend to hike; the calanques are definitely worth it!"

"The hotel Royale was perfect for my stay in Cassis. The staff was friendly and professional, my room was clean and had a beautiful view. The bed was comfortable, the floors were clean, and the bathroom was spotless! The café was delicious. The front desk staff was especially helpful, courteous, and thoughtful. As a solo traveler, this place was ideal. I felt safe in the hotel, in my room, and walking back-and-forth to the main village in the evening. The pool area was lovely! Very relaxing and the pool water was just right. The pool view isn’t bad either! "

"This place was in a superb location at Cassis right on the harbour. However it was just a hole in the wall with no windows just a glass front. The bed was hard and the cupboards were full of unnecessary old junk and the kitchen was very poorly equipped with only one tea cup and one table knife and a very blunt carving knife. We had no hot water for the first two days until Denny came to turn on the switch hidden at the back of a cupboard. I would not recommend this place to anyone. "
