"This is a lovely small hotel with wonderful staff (particularly Josepe and Stefana). At the time we were there there was also a suited gentleman who was apparently a Director who hung around in reception looking very austere and unwelcoming. Unfortunately we were not able to use the pool, which was one of the reasons we chose the hotel, and there were no streaming channels available on the television, only Italian ones. We would return for the convenience, location and excellent staff."

Top Casa Tonietti Hotel Reviews

Hotel Riva Del Sole

10/10 Excellent

Poggio all'Agnello – Sport & Active Holidays

10/10 Excellent

"Pool with ideal water temperature of 31’C, 3 pools to be exact. One for kids, one spa!? And Olympic size. It’s just great temperature you get in with pleasant feeling but still let you cool off in hot weather just perfect. My apartment was very spacious with upstairs mezzanine bedroom. Outdoor space is just enormous! On the downside only 2 charging points(2 cars) it’s need more."

PuntAla Camp & Resort

10/10 Excellent

"Lovely camping, very safe and clean! Calm if you choose to be, or active if you choose to be…. Activities organized for young and old… nice beach, sun beds for rent, or your own towel…. Easy to rent water equipment, reasonable prices in restaurants, good choice of cuisine, delicious and satisfying portion size…Camp stuff extremely friendly, helpful, welcoming, speak well English for Non-Italian speakers! Would recommend for young couples, families, elderly couples, singles… nice atmosphere! The bungalow Limo was very well equipped and enough room for 5. Overall to be highly recommended!"

Frequently asked questions

When is the best time to go to Casa Tonietti?

The best time to go to Casa Tonietti is during the late spring (May to early June) and early autumn (September to October) when the weather is pleasant and the Tuscan landscape is at its most inviting.

During late spring, the countryside is lush and green, with wildflowers in bloom. The temperatures are comfortably warm, great for exploring the local villages, enjoying outdoor activities like cycling or walking, and dining al fresco. It's an ideal time for couples looking for romantic strolls through vineyards and picturesque towns.

Early autumn brings slightly cooler temperatures, which are still very agreeable for sightseeing and outdoor pursuits. This period is also harvest season, particularly for grapes and olives, offering a unique opportunity to experience local traditions and culinary events. Families might find this time particularly engaging, with fewer crowds than the peak summer months and opportunities to participate in local festivals.
