"Jan and Darren were excellent hosts - they were very welcoming and took time to talk to their guests; they were interested and interesting. This helped to create a relaxed atmosphere between the guests as well. The room was clean, cosy and comfortable and everything we needed was on hand. Breakfasts were really lovely and a real departure from the normal fare offered. All in all a really lovely stay - many thanks."

"Achalic Beag is a lovely, cosy cottage complete with everything you need for a week in Scotland. It's comfortable, well presented but also practical and well set out. I would definitely recommend it to anyone! Lovely for 2 couples, especially as there are 2 separate bathrooms."
