We love our condo and attentively care for it. We furnish it as we would our own home, as at times we like to stay here at ourselves. The condo has lots of sunlight, views of the mountains, and cross breezes (we are an end-unit.)
The Space
The unit is a completely and beautifully renovated 2 bedroom condo, one king bed and one queen, in a quiet complex. It is well appointed with Pergo floors, granite counter tops, interior newly painted sky blue, tile bathroom floor. The condo is full of light, and is peaceful and comfortable. There is one bathroom with a tub and shower.
We have fast WiFi, streaming TV services, a DVD player, large DVD collection and board games. Laundry is onsite directly below our condo. The swimming pool is heated, and the grounds are beautifully landscaped, There are gas grills and picnic tables for your use.
We provide beach towels, beach chairs and toys to take over to the sand with you. Linden St. with shops and restaurants is one block over. The new Linden Square is a great place to visit for good food and shopping.
The Salt Marsh Wildlife Refuge is a short walk and has excellent birding. The seal rookery is down the beach (though views are from the bluffs only during pup season.) Bring your binoculars for both. Dolphins and whales swim offshore.
Carpinteria is a lovely beachside town for walking around, with good restaurants, shops, parks, artists' shops, antique stores, and palm tree lined streets. Santa Barbara is 15 minutes up Rt. 101, with many family activities and attractions: shops; zoo; botanical gardens; bike paths; watersports, art museum, natural history museum. Summerland is a great nearby town for antiqueing and many wineries are nearby.
