Check calendar for available dates and rates. Welcome to Carpinteria! We are just across the street from the beach, on the corner of Sandyland Road and Elm St. in the La Cabana complex. We love our condo and take good care of it. We furnish it as we would our own home, as we like to stay here at times ourselves. The condo has lots of sunlight, views of the mountains, and cross breezes (we are an end-unit.) The unit is a completely and beautifully renovated 2 bdrm condo (One king, one queen) in a quiet complex- Pergo floors, granite counter tops, newly painted sky blue, tile bathroom floor. It is full of light, and is peaceful and comfortable. There is one bathroom with a tub and shower. You can walk across the street to Carpinteria Beach, one of the loveliest, safest, cleanest beaches at the South Central Coast. We provide beach towels, beach chairs and toys to take over to the sand with you. Linden St. with shops and reataurants is one block over. The swimming pool is heated, and the grounds are beautifully landscaped, There are gas grills and picnic tables for your use, and an onsite laundry facility. The wildlife refuge is a short walk and has excellent birding. The seal rookery is down the beach. Dolphins and whales swim offshore. Carpinteria is a lovely beachside town for walking around, with good restaurants, shops, parks, artists' shops, antique stores, and palm tree lined streets. Santa Barbara is 15 minutes up Rt. 101, with many family activities and attractions: shops; zoo; botanical gardens; bike paths; watersports, art museum, natural history museum . Summerland is a great nearby town for antiquing and many wineries are nearby. Our rates include the 15% town tax that Carpinteria requires, We aim for a reasonable rate. There’s a lovely quiet pool right outside the front door and the beach is a one min walk away. You can also walk into town in five minutes and there’s lots of restaurants and little shops. We had a delicious dinner at Dom’s and went into Santa Barbara most days. I only wish I lived here! ##### Karen M. The rental has everything you need and feels like a true home away from home. Love when the pantry has the essentials like oils, salt pepper spices etc. The unit feels well loved and taken care of. Walk everywhere. Pool was heated to perfection. And the beds were ultra comfortable. The host was super responsive and I know we’ll be back. My only tip would be to bring your own beach chairs and boogie boards. While the owner did provide them in the unit, the boards werent usable and the chairs were really well worn. ##### Erin M. The kitchen was stocked with everything we could ever need, beach gear in the closet, lots of games and movies. Location was perfect for easy walks downtown and steps to the beach. The condo was cleam, well appointed, comfy beds, beautiful grounds and pool just a short stroll to the beach. The owner was very responsive to all communication and kindly answered all my questions. We had a wonderful stay at Paul’s place in Carp. You can’t beat the location, and the complex itself was very quiet compared to others nearby, even during the summer.
