Large hotel with many facilities, close to M4

Posted 28-Apr-2016
Stayed for one night in a superior bedroom. Impressed by standard of furnishing which included two comfortable arm chairs. Staff were very efficient and friendly. The main car park is some way from the hotel but there I a frequent minibuses service.

Great for the discounted rate....

Posted 30-Jan-2016 on Hotels
At the reduced rate it was a great hotel and stay but as they allege their prices are usually £300+ the a lumpy bed and broken taps in the bathroom are quite frankly not acceptable. Decide if your reduced rate is to fill the room or to show people what they get for their money if they pay full price. If the low rate is to fill the room then there is an argument that the £300+ creates a significant profit - so that should be enough to fix lumpy beds and broken taps!

Fab night at celtic manor

Came for our anniversary as a surprise from my boyfriend and loved the stay. We sat in merlins bar enjoying the surroundings and the live singer.

Lovely new year break

Posted 10-Jan-2016 on Hotels
The only disappointment was the £12.50 charge for cocktails that the bar tender had to look up on the Internet. @ £12.50 I would have expected an experienced tender who at least knew how to salt a marguerita. Otherwise a fantastic stay with great food in Terry M's and a relaxing break to kick start our retirement.

Looking a little frayed around the edges

Posted 09-Jan-2016 on Hotels
Stayed here a number of times since it opened and alas the hotel is looking a little tired. Chips in the bathroom sinks and carpets look a little worn. Parking charges are astonomical 10% plus of the bill and the selection of restaurants on my stay were limited to 2. Breakfast was awful
