Oh how lovely to be in a creative environment and enjoy the lovely pottery pieces all over the property. It's a very relaxed atmosphere. We were so appreciative to be able to use the washing machine too.
There are some lovely restaurants a 5 min walk away in Second Avenue.
We will definitely be back next year on our return to Cape Town.
After a grueling 14 hour drive from Johannesburg, it was comforting to arrive at the guest house, which was clean and tidy.
The manageress took a few minutes to show me the ropes, and we were all set.
Lots of places very close by to have dinner and breakfast.
Nice and quiet and got a good nights sleep.
Great coffee in the morning
Really enjoyed my stay. Room was super clean and serviced daily. Host was very accommodating to allow for an early check in and also gave me an upgrade as that room was available:) Very comfortable nights sleep. I personally think a bar fridge in each room may make it a bit more comfortable and if the mirror in the bathroom was wall mounted. Other then that absolutely no complaints. There are many restaurants nearby too within walking distance. Will definitely stay here again should the opportunity arise.
needs a sanitary basked in bathroom. lights flickering.

B&B in ruhigem Stadtteil
Elegant and welcoming, close to interesting eateri
Rowan is a gracious and warm, accommodating hostess.
The room was spacious, very clean and tastefully decorated. Beautiful artwork everywhere. The house has amazing wooden floors. The bathroom is spacious, very neat, clean and functional. The bathroom is not en suite and is shared with other guest, but not once did I bump into somebody or was there a knock on the door. The coffee and tea is of very good quality and thoughtfully presented. Harfield village has a great variety of eateries and is within walking distance.
I can strongly recommend this accommodation.
I stayed here for three nights (may show as "Marcia" but I'm Sarah). The check in was seamless and everyone was very friendly and accommodating. Gorgeous house, lots of quirky items to catch one's attention. The room had a kitchenette, hot plate, dishes, french press, bathroom-shower, bed, heater, water bottles, iron, closet and table. Also, a huge bookcase with lots of interesting books. The room had a separate entrance so I could come and go without worrying about disturbing anyone. It's a working home, and there are other rooms as well, so there's often people coming/going. I needed a few days away to hold up and to do work, and this was perfect. Parking was also available upon reservation, but after seeing the street, I confidently left my car parked there (without incident).
