Jammer dat er geen airco op de kamer aanwezig is!

Aardige ontvangst, mooie grote kamer met terras. De badkamer is sober. Een MIN punt dat er geen airco aanwezig was terwijl dit wel in de omschrijving van de kamer stond! Bij een temperatuur van meer dan 30 graden! Was dit meer dan welkom geweest! Ook was er geen klein koelkastje aanwezig. Jammer want voor de rest is de kamer prima.

Colourfull Stay!!!

Colourfull Manor is beautifully situated in a stunning location and there is plenty to do in the area. They are along a dirt track just outside Gordons Bay. We stayed for only one night. The room was a disappointment though. The room lack's privacy and it would have been great to have the room arranged a little differently and less spare. (The room has so much potential) The fan did not work properly and there was no aircon. It was incredibly hot and uncomfortable in the room. A small fridge would also have been nice as they do not serve lunch or dinner and the place is far from the closest shop/town. The beds are very comfortable and they have a nice big pool to laze around. There was no bar of soap in the shower and seeing that the bathroom was so big a bath would have been stunning. The basin in our room is really high off the ground and it was cracked!!!! The towels were also not really nice. A good selection of wines and other drinks are available with an honesty bar which is a nice touch. The rooms are interestingly “numbered”. Nice touch and educational. Overall we liked the place but it is on the expensive side if you take all the negatives into consideration.

Läget är väldigt bra med närhet till Kapstadens centrum och områden längst kusten. Lugnt och stillsamt hotell och vi hade en fantastisk utsikt från rummet. Servicen var ok, inte mer.

Beachside hotel

Just a couple of little things stopped this hotel been 5 star cigarette ends in flower pot on the balcony and fan did not work. the hotel is on the whole very clean and tidy with friendly helpful staff. The adjoining bar and restaurant did not open on the Monday evening which was inconvenient as we had planned to eat there after going out to eat the previous night.

A very nice Guest house in a nature setting. Only issue I had is no TV in room - I suppose if you have lots to reflect about that is great but I just wanted to come home after a days work and relax in front of the TV.
