We had the comfort suite, which was seperate to the main guest house. It was very, very spacious, with wonderful views from the master bedroom/lounge on the first floor. It was cold whilst we were there. There is a log burner on each floor which you can purchase firewood/lighters for at reception. This was a must for the cold days. Breakfast was delicious. Staff were friendly and helped when needed. Hotel has a lovely feel to it - amazing views and lots of lovely light. Generally cleanliness was great, apart from our bath in the room hadn’t been cleaned from the last guest so that wasn’t nice. There is a lovely pool area, but the covers on the sun loungers are looking quite sorry for themselves and need replacing really. It was also rather unusual to have a double bed made up… but with two single quilts. I rented the loft room and there was a breeze, big windows and a fan, so I had no issues with it being too warm. I slept with the balcony door and windows open and it was lovely listening to the waves as I fell asleep. Breakfast was delicious! Hot tip: If you book directly with them, it's included. Really enjoyed the complementary coffee brought to my room. The location is fantastic. I walked to Dalebrook tidal pool and snorkeled there and later I walked to Kalky's in the harbour for delicious supper. No doubt I'd return here, it was just fantastic.
