"Basic simple room in a new apparently purpose-built house about 10 minutes walk out of the old town. Don’t make the mistake we made - we thought we’d be doing hosts a favour by extending our stay directly through them only to discover that they charged us a higher nightly rate than Hotels.com. Near the train station and also plenty parking. Apartment on 2 levels and beautifully set out. The mother is an artist and her work is everywhere. Unfortunately we didn't meet her but her son could not have been more helpful. The station bar nearby looks unpromising but the room at the back is functional, staff friendly and good cheap food. Breakfast was plentiful. Main road at the back but didn't hear it after dark. If you don't want to stay in Cagliari we strongly recommend.

It was a delight to have an adults only hotel. The staff were courteous and helpful with all facilities being comfortable and spotlessly clean. While I had to share the pool with a couple of ducks looking on, it was clean and well maintained. The only drawback was that the Rooftop Restaurant with its magnificent views did not serve a full evening meal, however there were various restaurants/bistros etc within easy walking distance.

Wonderful property in the heart of the marina. Very large room and bathroom, with beautiful historical / typical features (sofa, desk, side tables, great wifi.) 5 mins walk away from the main train station, taxis and buses. 5 mins walk away from the historic center. Shared kitchen had all the amenities - coffee machine, free water and drinks, snacks, fruit, kettle, cutlery etc. Also lots of toiletries, sun cream etc if you forgot something. I can't thank the owners enough, there were lovely...

Couldn't fault anything with this hotel. It is less than a 10 minute walk to the main shopping and restaurant area of Cagliari. There is no on-site parking at the hotel but parking is free on the residential street that the hotel is in. Room was beautifully decorated to a very high standard. Very clean and comfortable. Staff were extremely helpful from check-in to very good restaurant recommendations. Would definitely recommend this hotel.

Superb hotel right opposite the marina in Cagliari. Great location, a few minutes walk from the main restaurant area, and easy access to the city centre, either on foot or by bus. We had a room overlooking the marina and main road, the double glazing was super-effective and cut out all the traffic noise. The air conditioning was excellent too. The whole hotel is spotlessly clean, with attractive modern decor. The staff at reception were welcoming, and couldn’t have been more helpful, absolutely...

We spent a lovely week in La Palmetta suites and we were very happy there. The location is ideal, only one street behind the seafront with plenty of restaurants and cafes and a few shops. We had a balcony so spent some time there relaxing as it caught the sun in the morning but was shaded late afternoon. The suite was spotlessly clean, the bed very comfortable and the staff were so helpful and knowledgeable of the area. We would happily recommend to others and would stay again next time we are...
