The location had ant spray on hand, but we couldn’t leave any food on the counters or table - everything had to be in sealed containers or put in the fridge. The house had beautiful views, and some cool features like the spiral staircase. The dog was unable to go up and down the stairs, but they did give the house a unique feel. Checking in was a little unnerving as we didn’t get the code until we were about an hour away - I think this was due to me requesting an alternate ID confirmation (via email) than the third party process that is the usual route most people go through, and we had limited internet connection on the drive there. Overall, we had a nice time, but for the price we paid, I would have appreciated not having to deal with so many ants around the house. Views were amazing the trees do need to be trimmed. We did have to connect with the host about the security system and they were quick to get the low battery alarm taken care of. AI messaging was annoying. It either ignored questions or repeated itself. Windows upstairs were covered only halfway so it was very bright in the morning. Large fence yard was great and we enjoyed the hot tub and short walk to the beach. Bed was comfortable but bathrooms were both downstairs. Dated house could use some TLC. Price a little high for what you get. The couch ended up being more comfortable to sleep on. We were tired and sore from both places and did not sleep well. Overall, the place was great, minus the not sleeping well. There was so much space for everyone. The rooms are spread out over three floors, so everyone can have their own space while also enjoying the awesomely appointed living areas. The beds were incredibly comfy, the linens crisp and clean, and the bathrooms were updated and well appointed. The kitchen had everything needed to cook meals. There were so many dishes which is so nice! The views were amazing, and while we didn’t get to use the outdoor spaces because of the weather, they would be great for warmer days.
