"Great location with amazing beach access."

"The property was welcoming to the pet that we brought with us, the house was clean when we arrived, but we did have issues with ants in the kitchen, dining area, and upstairs bedroom and bathroom. The location had ant spray on hand, but we couldn’t leave any food on the counters or table - everything had to be in sealed containers or put in the fridge. The house had beautiful views, and some cool features like the spiral staircase. The dog was unable to go up and down the stairs, but they did give the house a unique feel. Checking in was a little unnerving as we didn’t get the code until we were about an hour away - I think this was due to me requesting an alternate ID confirmation (via email) than the third party process that is the usual route most people go through, and we had limited internet connection on the drive there. Overall, we had a nice time, but for the price we paid, I would have appreciated not having to deal with so many ants around the house. "

"Room was clean, check in extremely easy & such a cute little spot with an amazing view! The weather was perfect and the restaurant next door was really good & so was Rosanna's down the street. Our unit had 2 bedrooms, refrigerator and stove. Loved this place & can't wait to go back!"

"We had a good time, we were disappointed that in the description that it was a 6 minute walk to the beach not sure what route that was supposed to be as we never seen a path down the side of the mountain. Views were amazing the trees do need to be trimmed. We did have to connect with the host about the security system and they were quick to get the low battery alarm taken care of. "

"CasaGo manages the rental. AI messaging was annoying. It either ignored questions or repeated itself. Windows upstairs were covered only halfway so it was very bright in the morning. Large fence yard was great and we enjoyed the hot tub and short walk to the beach. Bed was comfortable but bathrooms were both downstairs. Dated house could use some TLC. Price a little high for what you get. "

"Hot tub was good. Main bedroom bed mattress should be updated/changed. I ended up sleeping on the couch because I couldn't sleep at all on the bed and my wife stayed on the bed and still didn't sleep well. The couch ended up being more comfortable to sleep on. We were tired and sore from both places and did not sleep well. Overall, the place was great, minus the not sleeping well. "

"This home has a fabulous location. It should be wonderful once fully renovated but it was not described as being under renovation when we booked it. We arrived to discover the HVAC was not operable and we needed to use space heaters. Breaker had tripped in the room with the WiFi router and it took us a while to troubleshoot that. Lack of thermostat controlled central heat was not comfortable. Bathrooms were cold. Flooring is being replaced. Kitchen had new flooring. Living and dining area had bare subflooring. Carpet in bedrooms and stairs/hallways is extremely dirty, yet to be replaced. Baseboards not yet installed, some cabinets lack fronts. Pots and pans were nice stainless steel, not as described in a prior review, have been upgraded. It was ok, we love Oceanside, but we didnt expect to stay in a rental that was in the midst of renovation. The pictures to not reflect what the living areas look like now. Host did offer to bring more space heaters."
