Because I was a woman traveling alone with various guests joining me at different times, it was imperative that I feel safe. There was never a time that I felt uncomfortable sleeping with all windows wide open at night in order to maximize the cool night breezes. The private country setting allowed me to unwind from my adventure packed days. I stayed there for 30 continuous days and my guests all said the villa was their favorite part of their Tuscany experience . The recycling demands were a pain and stressful to foreigners. We tried hard but the language barrier made it hard for us to understand the various rules. The bathroom situation is not optimal. Luckily my guests and I were fit enough to navigate the stairs up and down for nighttime bathroom visits. We stayed with children and the pool was really convenient. What a delightful house - located in the center of town yet incredibly quiet. We would be very happy to return again! Lovely villa with great amenities. House manager was flexible with check in and out times which was very helpful. The location is good although fairly close to the road which can be heard from the villa. We didn’t know how to work the A/C on the first floor but we used the fans instead. The Villa had a great little pool which we made the most of every day and there was plenty of space for us to relax, cook and have a lovely holiday together as a family. It was clean and well appointed with everything we needed for our stay. Being set back from the road, up a steep hill, means the view across the Tuscan hills from the the back of the villa and garden was wonderful.
