"We stayed for 6 nights. The swimming pool is located in the center of the building in an open air space (no roof) with the doors to the rooms opening to the pool area on all the floors. The reason we only gave it 3 stars is everyday in the afternoon they would play music for the pool area that if you were in your room you could easily hear. The last night we were there several young girls were loudly talking and laughing until 3:30 - 4:00 in the morning. It seems no one polices the pool area and there are no restrictions on noise levels and how it effects guests."

"Overall a good place to stay, excellent and friendly staff, great variety of tasty food, spacious rooms. misses small details such as providing robes, disposable flip-flops, kettles for tea. "

"The staff are amazing and the cleaning staff do a super human job. They are let down by poor maintenance and lazy reactions to complaints and about maintenance issues. What a pity! The hotel is in need of major refurbishment, however they seem to be getting their revenue as an event location (parties and weddings etc) this makes for loud noise for guests and along with noisy aircon, leaking taps, etc it seems the service from their lowest paid staff carry the hotel forward.. how sad "

"it is located in an incredible location. I had a balcony with a river view. I could sit in the afternoon and watch a parade of birds, including toucans. Be aware that the location is not within a town, so you are only at this property for meals and snacks. Also, the property does not offer much assistance for transportation to and from the location. The nature is amazing though, and made my stay worthwhile!"

"Great views of the Panama Canal from our room. Restaurant is very good. Fillet steak was excellent. Cheap and easy Uber into old town and to the ferry terminal for a canal tour. We had a fun meal at the Roadhouse restaurant just below the property with live music and good local vibes"

"Reasonable rate. Initial male receptionist was awesome. The other staff not were not warm or helpful. My purse was taken while I was at dinner. I think I left it behind walked to my room realized and went back. No staff was concerned in the least management included. Housekeeper was the only person who expressed concern. She helped me tear apart the room to find it. I did not. Pool is very tiny no poolside service for food or drinks."

"Such an amazing stay, from the house, to the surroundings and the owner. We used all the recommendations (Kamir is a great cook and wonderful person), went on a boat tour and enjoyed the Embera trip. It was our first time in the jungle and Gamboa was a great experience. Safe and friendly all around!"

"We were all comfortable. Plenty of space. Only problem is location doesn't show up correctly on Uber so delivering food was a minor issue. "

"This is a very nice gated country club. It has great amenities and the apartment is in excellent condition and very comfortable. We only had one issue and that was with the dryer not working, which we didn’t discover until we had already washed a load of clothes. There isn’t a lobby that is staffed at this location, and it’s not clear who to contact with issues. The “check-in” occurred at the security gate as you arrive to the country club. But despite the lack of clear instructions you get when booking, I still recommend this place, especially if you have more than a one night stay, and would stay here again."
