"This is an amazing property………Classic somerset cottage equipped with all modern conveniences. Super quiet (well a few tractors collecting the harvest!). We all slept very well. "Overall for a short stay it was good. I didn't use the pool although quite a few in our party were going to after I left. Hotel is dated & could do with a fresh look but I understand cost issues etc so happy with what I got. Minor quibble, as with all hotels, why only a minimum number of milk sachets/cartons? It's a long traipse from 2nd floor to reception (who wasn't very friendly at all when I was there!), to get a couple of extra ones! Bar staff were friendly, always a bonus!"

"While a little dated (the bathrooms look a bit 1980s) this was a very fairly priced place to stay, plenty of parking, the manager was a nice chap. This is a Hungry Horse, so standard pub food, a decent range of drinks. I was upstairs (room 27) while there was a flood light outside the window it wasn't a problem for sleeping. Iron and ironing board in the room and the shower was fine. All-in-in a good value find."
