This room has smart lock. The PINs will be sent to you via the Airbnb app a few days prior to your check-in. Other things to note Air Conditioning: ✔ Your unit is equipped with air conditioning, available during the summer months from mid-June to mid-September. ✔ Use the white AC remote to turn it on/off and set your preferred temperature. ✔ Please ensure that the thermostat on the wall for heating is turned all the way to the left (lowest setting) during the summer. Heating: ✔ The in-floor heating system takes a long time to heat up or cool down. If the room temperature is too high, please open a window to cool down. Bear Spray: ✔ For safety reasons, we do not provide bear spray at Bill's Place. You can easily purchase it at the local Canadian Tire in Canmore. Occasionally, previous guests may leave behind bear spray. If you find one, you may use it at your own risk, but please verify its functionality before relying on it. \*\*\*On-Trip Rules\*\*\* 1) Shoes – Always take shoes off at the door. 2) Please ensure all windows and doors are closed when you are not present in the room 3) If anything breaks, spills, stains, etc, please let us know ASAP 4) You use it, clean it-dishes, cups etc.-Otherwise extra cleaning charge will be applied. 5) Any extra cleaning effort will be charged back to the guest or deducted from your security deposit. 6) Any significant damage will result in the loss of your security deposit 7) Sporting equipment can only be stored in the garage or your own car. This includes but is not exclusive to bikes, skis, snowboards, climbing equipment, etc 8) Noise – Quiet Time is 10 PM-7 AM. Noise Fines are the following: 1st violation - WARNING, 2nd violation - $250 Fine, or removal from premises with no refund if law enforcement involved. 9) No unregistered guests, such as guests are more than the numbers of registered. 10) No smoking, No Cigarette Butts, No drugs of any kind, and legal cannabis within the unit/building/garage/decks. Fines are as follows: Smoking/Drug in the areas above - $250, Improper disposal of butts: $150 11) Illegal Activity/Intentional Damage – The reservation will be canceled with NO WARNING and NO COMPENSATION if the guest OR anyone in the guest’s party is seen or is reasonably assumed to be conducting any kind of illegal activity OR intentional damage inside the unit or around the building premises. If the host has a reasonable suspicion that illegal activity or intentional damage has occurred, he or an agent can enter the premises to investigate without the guest’s consent given written notice at least 5 minutes before entering through the Airbnb messaging app. \*\*\*Host/Guest Cancellation Policies\*\*\* Host Cancellation for Breaking of Rules • Breaking Rules 8, 9, and 10 - During the trip if guest breaks Rule 8 (Noise), Rule 9 (unregistered guests), or Rule 10 (Smoking condo bylaw) the guest will receive one written warning rule violation notice through the plateform app. A second rule violation (which does not have to be the same rule) will have the booking canceled without any compensation to the guest. • Breaking Rule 11 - If Rule 11 (Illegal Activity/Intentional Damage) is broken by the guest/guest party the trip will be canceled immediately without any kind of compensation to the guest. Guest Cancellation Policy – If a guest cancels the trip within the cancellation period the host will try to get the place occupied at that time. While checking in, the cleaning crew was still in our room, but was just finishing up and left as soon as we got there. Unfortunately the air conditioning was not working and the host was unresponsive on the Vrbo app after messaging about the air conditioning. The room was still a comfortable temperature just on the warmer side. Overall, these minor things did not have a big negative impact on our trip as a whole. While it was a bit smaller than we anticipated, it was thoughtfully equipped with a microwave, mini-fridge, some dishes, a coffee maker, and basic supplies like coffee and sugar, which was handy even though there's no full kitchenette. Looking back, the description provided and photos do reflect exactly what we were getting, the host was awesome at answering my questions beforehand and the location (while not directly in downtown) was perfect for us to walk everywhere we needed to go. The space worked well for us because we spent most of our time exploring and only needed a place to rest at night. The bed was comfortable, but there isn’t a comfy chair or lounge area, so if you’re planning a longer stay, you might prefer a larger room option. The bathroom was clean, and the showerhead worked fine, but it’s positioned quite low. At 5'5", I had to duck slightly, and my 6’ partner found it a bit awkward. The underground parking is a bit tight. Our 4Runner fit fine, but a full-size truck might struggle. Luckily, there’s plenty of street parking and spaces behind the property. Overall, it’s a solid choice if you’re looking for an affordable, comfortable place for a short visit. The location was nice and convenient. The Condo is the smallest VRBO I have stayed in but it was clean and well maintained. The property was nice as well... few items left in drawers, but not a big issue for us as we didn't use them. Whenever we ran water, shower etc. or if neighbors used water the pipes would make a loud tapping sound for a few minutes. The walls are quite thin, so we could hear everything in the adjoining room. Rooms need more soundproofing of some kind as it was quite loud if they had TV running. Other than these issues, the property was nice and the stay was fairly seemless. ##### Michael L.
