The stay at Burnt Cape Cabins was just OK. The place is a little off the main road to Lan's Aux Meadows, but not very far either. The location has some attractions, with the Burnt Cape Ecological reserve just across the cabins and the Raleigh Fishing village close by, but the location is not that exciting either.
While booking on Hotels.com, I was assigned a room at the Viking Lodge, a property owned by the same group, and located a little farther. Breakfast was included in the booking price. But on reaching the office, which is located inside the local grocery shop/post office, I was told that, due to the COVID-19 situation, the Viking lodge was closed for the season, and I was given a cabin at the Burnt Cape Cabin location. But, since this location did not serve breakfast and since the cafe was also closed for the season, we were not served breakfast. There was a miscommunication regarding the change of booking and no information was sent in advance.
The cabin was clean and comfortable and looked almost like the ones in the pictures. However, there was nothing exciting about it and the stay was just OK.
