This is our first time to stay in Puerto Juarez. We wanted to be less crowded and commercialized and more immersed with the culture, and this was the perfect location for that - plus if you love good food and fresh seafood and very reasonable prices - it cannot be beat! There are dogs running around and some of their droppings and some wild noises at night - but that is the only downside for us. The weather was fantastic and the view was gorgeous! The people at Puerto del Mar were very accommodating and friendly, and our host was amazing. The condo was stocked with plenty of essentials, which is the first time I have ever seen that. Usually when we rent a new place, we find it is very sparse with essentials like soap and toilet paper, and I often wondered why hosts would not be more accommodating with less expensive essentials to make the stay at a new place a little easier. Our host was very responsive and accommodating. The ferry is right there for a day trip to Isla Mujueres which was wonderful. We will be back! ##### Leatra H. Host was incredibly helpful and answered all my questions and concerns. Her apartment was well stocked with supplies. She even surprised my 2 daughters with flip flops and beach toys. She also suggested places my girls (6 and 10) would enjoy. The restaurant next to the complex has the best seafood I ever had. Location was excellent as well. The pool and security were outstanding. We always felt safe and Covid19 protocols were evident on the property complex.
