Staff were excellent, nothing was too much trouble for them. Real quirky hotel, totally different from anything I have stayed in before, but in a good way. Free wine hour in the early evening! would totally recommend this hotel.

The hotel is located in the 9 streets area of the city which is packed full of boutique shops and excellent places to eat. It is only a short walk from all the main attractions but benefits from being in a quieter area. The hotel was really easy to find and we were really happy with our room on the first floor. It was spotlessly clean and very comfortable. We were a little cold in the room but were able to adjust the thermostat accordingly. We met Merel a couple of times and she was warm...

Loved the style / decor of the hotel and the home from home service (cheese and wine buffets, bar and hot drinks, mini bar in room all included). Very relaxed. Helpful staff. Great position - walkable to town centre and museums and overlooking canal. Numerous dining options in the local area. Good breakfast.

This well situated hotel provided the perfect setting for a 50th birthday treat. The room had a lovely view over the canal and the staff were friendly, helpful but not intrusive. We didn't eat breakfast in the hotel but the dining area provided complementary tea and coffee in the afternoon which we felt was a thoughtful touch. Definitely a special event destination.

Far and away my favourite hotel in central Amsterdam, for either business our tourism. Great location within easy walking distance of the main tourist areas but in a quieter location. Beautiful interiors, welcoming and friendly staff. Drinks and snacks in the blue room are a nice perk before and after a long day of business or sightseeing. Only downside of this is it seems the word is out about this gem and booking well in advance is now essential, I had to stay elsewhere for half of my recent...

So pleased we booked this hotel, despite reading the reviews about the building work outside which is nearly finishing
From the receptionist to the staff in the breakfast room all were so warm and welcoming .
Probably the best continental style breakfast in an hotel we’ve had
Our group had rooms on the second, third and fifth rooms. All newly refurbished , comfortable beds and very nice bathrooms and toiletries
Easy to walk to main places of interest and good resturants

My second time staying here - great location if you want to be in the centre along one of the canals. Interesting streets, restaurants and cafes all around. lovely comfortable rooms. A free drink from the bar is a very nice touch - the barman knows his G&Ts. I will definitely go back.

This was a special treat for my 50th birthday. We were treated like royalty from the minute we walked through the door. The breakfast catered for every persons needs; there was even Champagne for a special occassion. It was faultless; I would highly recommend this beautiful hotel, which has been newly refurbished to a high specification. There is also a spa and pool.

Lovely hotel, very clean and the staff were very welcoming and helpful.
We had a city-view room that was a fair size, had a window and was very quiet. The bed was very comfortable. The location is good. It is around a 30-minute walk to the main city centre or you can jump on the number 4 tram that stops a short walk away from the hotel.
