Quiet and sophisticated location for a break.
Great hotel in fantastic location right on the beach. Amazing breakfast buffet, highly recommended. Worth taking the sea view rooms.

The Gran Hotel Soly Mar is simply wonderful, the hotel is clean and stylish, the staff are really friendly, nothing is too much trouble. The dining room has panoramic sea views and the breackfasts are amazing. There is a supermarket in the basement which is super convenient. The location of the hotel is perfect for shops bars and restaurants.

Highly recommended
We loved this hotel… we had a room with a sea view which was worth paying extra for 🌅 The room was clean and well presented. The bed was huge and really comfortable. The breakfast was great with a large variety to suit all. The pool area was good but a little small for the size of hotel. It was difficult to get beds at times. Staff very friendly and helpful. Would highly recommend to any friends travelling to Calpe.

Breakfast somewhat chaotic. Tables not always laid properly. Difficulty finding cutlery. Layout of food not easy to navigate. Hot food not always hot. Fried eggs kept too long. Booked queens bed got two singles pushed together. Staff at reception not particularly helpful. Lack of information about facilities ie spa, and entertainment. Need more sun beds with parasols. Generally not a friendly and welcoming hotel.

The best buffet! Live music entertainment at night, cosy immaculate rooms with lots of handy goodies for the forgetful travellers. The beach nearby is awesome, sandy with a scenic rock.

Great hotel and although very large the level of service was never challenged. Fantastic breakfast - they even had someone carving serrano ham! Convenient parking (at a cost). Pool and pool area very small and crowded, however there is a lovely beach just below.

Had the most loveliest time at this wonderful hotel! Staff friendly, hotel is spotless, the room was amazing with the most loveliest views of the sea. We stayed on bed & breakfast basis and it was great...so much choice and variety. The pool area is fantastic with beautiful views again. Bar area is very nice too with live music in the evenings. Cannot find anything negative to say ...will definitely be back soon! Thank you Gran Sol Y Mar for the best mini break ...feel so refreshed & relaxed

Very comfortable room with an amazing view of the beach from above. The front desk staff did a great job the few times I asked for their assistance. The breakfast was good and the staff there did a nice job also.The pool was great, refreshing, clean with amazing views and friendly staff. The gtym was great for a hotel facility.I would stay there again.

Nice location- ReallyBad Service-way over priced.
They didn’t clean our room the last night. We paid over $400 for the night in August. Totally unacceptable by any standard. This room is not worth more that $200 a night even in August. Good location and nice accommodation. Service has much to desire.

Best hotel in Calpe
Always stay here when in Calpe - large rooms with views of Ifach from bed or in the shower! Wonderful breakfast buffet with so much choice, incredibly pleasant and helpful staff makes the time here a real pleasure

Very enjoyable stay at The Grand Hotel Sol y Mar in Calpe. The room was very spacious, the beds very comfortable.It was an all round pleasant experience at a reasonable price.

This hotel is wonderful
We stayed here two nights in September 2016. Zero problems. Underground parking is connected to hotel. One area for improvement was that we were charged for a relatively minor request (brining clean plates to the room). We found this to be below the quality of the hotel. Small gestures go a long way!

Hotel with an excellent view from balcony
A very smart, well located hotel right on the paseo overlooking the lovely beach. Parking was most convenient underneath and the charge was reduced to 14 euros per day for hotel guests. Pool would be a little small/crowded if it was high season but very good. Everything was great. Did not eat there apart from breakfast which was good. Easy to walk out and go to bars and restaurants - particularly like the guiness bar opposite with excellent staff. Overall it was a hotel I would return to.
