"Booking a room with a Seaview is a must when staying here...we only had dinner and breakfast twice , really enjoyed what he had, the buffet breakfast being hot was bonus too ..young girl Olivia is an asset to the place and couldn't help us enough...we will definitely be back x"

Dairy Cottage East Challoch Farm

"Very lovely wee cottage with a lot of facilities and absolutely stunning views. Very close to a lot local places and beautiful walks near by. The hosts were so lovely as well. Would recommend you get yourself a shop before coming in though if you’re doing a long drive though (that is if you’re looking doing any cooking or that when staying like we did). Honestly couldn’t recommend this place enough. We went as a couple with our dog but definitely plan on going again with friends and/or family though there is only one double bed and the rest are single beds. What was really nice as well was they have DVDs and Games such as Jenga and heaps other board games which my husband and I chose to do a day of staying in watching dvds and playing games due to the rainy weather and was really nice. Our wee dog absolutely loved the area too and just sitting and watching the alpacas in the field. They have a bath if you care for long soak like we did and a separate shower 😊 They provide tea and coffee and also laundry detergent for you to wash your clothes when staying which we especially found helpful. Thank you so much for hosting us. Can’t wait to book and stay again 😊"

"Super location to visit the local town or enjoy a walk in the park/along the beach. The hosts were helpful and on hand to support. Beds were comfortable, the room was warm and spacious. Breakfast was lovely and there was ample parking. I can safely say, I'd visit again."
Fernhill Hotel

"Lovely location with great views over Portpatrick. It was such a wet day and we were delighted when we were able to have our room a little bit earlier than the check in time of 3pm, even more so, when our room was upgraded to a balcony room. As soon as you enter the hotel you are stunned by the terrific view over Portpatrick at the reception and then again from our lovely, bright spacious and very clean bedroom. Loved having the bath and powerful shower. We enjoyed a drink in the comfortable lounge before going for a walk. We enjoyed our dinner, pate, chicken and mushroom pie and fish and chips. The breakfast next morning was even better with the added addition of fresh fruit salad to the selection of cereals etc. My husband had the Fernhill Grill and I had the Eggs Benedict. The eggs were cooked to perfection! Staff all very pleasant. Thoroughly enjoyed our overnight stay and would highly recommend this hotel. Thank you."
