"Room was nice, staff were really friendly and also helpful as one of the three rooms we’d booked was on a different floor so they swapped it, nice food and drinks in the bar (didn’t want a full meal) and great breakfast. Only disappointment was that we’d booked it for the racing and that had been cancelled due to being waterlogged so we went to Brighton instead"

The guy on reception is always so friendly and welcoming and the guy at breakfast was really helpful, I wish I knew their names. "What stood out for us was the support we had. My daughter's baby was born very premature in the local hospital. I spoke to the hotel and they were willing to give us a good price on a room as we didn't know how long we would need it for. They gave us a family room with an extra bed. They put a fridge in the room for expressed milk to be kept until it could be taken to the hospital. The hotel location was perfect as it's walking distance. The staff were extremely helpful and supportive. Mina, Brooke, Emma, Andrea are just some of the names. Thank you for taking some of the stress away from a very worrying and stressful time. We are truly grateful."
