Good location

Pretty much the only hotel in the area, so pleased to have found it. It is quite basic, as one might expect, but it does the job. English is not the first language of any of the staff that I met, but they are pleasant and friendly, and we got by with a little patience on my part.

Simple stay at low cost

This is a very simple , clean, cheap hotel that gives you a bed for the night. And small food items if required. No complaints at all. Doesn’t look aesthetically pleasing from outside but inside, it is fine. Staff member on reception was excellent, and housekeeping staff helpful.

Burton on Trent Golf Trip

Great base for tge centre of Burton on Trent, very good consideringbut was a budget hotel, the staff were friendly and approachable, no real issues during my 2 night stay (i was playing in a charity golf day nearby) so the hotel was very convienent 5 minute walk from station and a 15 minute taxi ride to golf course

The staff are amazing, they will bend over backwards to help, the cooked breakfast is delicious and with no fat, it’s well worth the extra cost. Overnight parking is free but during the day it can get expensive plus the car park is dirty, uneven and dose t feel safe. Despite all this I would definitely book here again.

Room was far too hot. Awake at 5am due to the temperature. Corridors absolutely stunk of weed. Other than that, you get what you pay for. No glass for water.
