We had the most relaxing stay, it was so peaceful and beautiful. The view fromChestnut lodge was superb to wake up to that view was breathtaking. We also got the most beautiful sunset pictures too. The lodge was very spacious and had everything we needed. I will be recommending you to my friends!

Great location.

Great location. Lodge spotlessly clean even though it was a pet friendly one. Really peaceful on the site. Plenty of places to walk the dogs in the surrounding area. Welcome pack a lovely surprise. Can't recommend this place enough as can't fault it. WiFi really good.

It's a lovely lodge, clean and well-appointed.

It's a lovely lodge, clean and well-appointed. We greatly appreciated a bottle of Prosecco, cake, bread, milk, and tea and coffee-making facilities. The location is fantastic, quite rural but nearby towns are not far away and there is a garden centre within walking distance which has a cafe/restaurant. The grounds are kept very neat and tidy, and text messages from the staff to check that all was well were also appreciated. If you like swimming, a sauna, or an exercise place there is a building on-site which you can pay for separately. A very enjoyable stay with lots of walks and activities nearby. I would love to come again but stay longer next time.

As soon as we entered the lodge, it was warm, cosy, even with a Christmas tree lit up, a cake on the side, milk & Prosecco in the fridge, lots of tea coffee sugar & a warm welcome text message asking if everything was ok. It was beautiful & clean so peaceful. The hot tub was boiling & amazing & cleaned every day without disturbing us. Nothing was too much trouble. I asked for the WiFi & a late checkout over a text on 2 separate occasions and had a reply within seconds. This is the second time we have visited here we first came in the summer & we’re a bit unsure about the winter but it was amazing. It is really warm & beautiful. We will definitely be booking again & again.

Superb lodge in fantastic location, no issues apart from no shelter from the sun on the decking which wouldnt normally be an issue but we were lucky enough to stay during a period of very warm weather so some sort of parasol would be useful. Nice welcome pack provided which was unexpected but very much appreciated.

It is the second time visiting and was just as good .

It is the second time visiting and was just as good . The lodge was lovely and clean , it could do with a door mat at the front door , the floor gets soaked when it was raining . Good to be able to dry are feet before coming in The hot tub was lovely and well maintained by jay , who was so helpful and friendly . The welcome pack was lovely too , beautiful bread and cake . Such a nice calming , quiet place to unwind
