"Great room with family pre booked meal but could have just turned up . Nice area to have a drink after meal only thing missing is play area outside for children to keep occupied in the evening . Will be back children loved it "

"Awful view. Water from room above coming through bathroom ceiling light. I had to allow staff to come and sort . Offering a complimentary coffee in lounge would have been appreciated. Furniture in very poor cosmetic state. But bed was clean and comfy and hotel quiet . I would return . "

"I have stayed at the Earl many times over the decades. The staff haven't changed and i think this is an indication of how well the hotel is ran. The ladies on reception and breakfast are lovely. This time we had room 406, lovely big room overlooking carpark. Very quiet. Highly recommend "

"We stayed for an overnight stay after a very bad experience at Orsett hall at Orset despite being 4 stars. The stay at forest pine hotel was spectacular and me and the wife managed to recharge our batteries and relax even better than planned. "Overall a very pleasant stay, it was a very hot day so the room was hot but it did have portable fan. Welcome and service by the staff was excellent. The main entrance door has a strong spring on it so very noisy when people allowed it to slam shut. Will stay again and try a cottage. "
