"This was the second time we have stayed in the converted Fire Station apartment. It is a good-sized studio, we love the wrap around views both inside and outside and spend lots of time on the fabulous deck, which includes both a shaded area and a BBQ. We also love all the unique heritage decor items from its past use as a fire station that elevate this from a boring hotel suite. We enjoy the ability to cook in the well-organised kitchen. The bed and pillow are comfortable. There was an extra doona but no cover for it which was a little odd. (Note: the photo displayed here by Hotels.com is for a separate building on the island, not the fire studio). "
