"Stay was nice and cozy for our family vacation! I had family in the area so it was nice to have “tourists”. Location to the lake was nice and boat rental was very easy! If I could ever talk my Buckeye husband into going to “the state up north” we’d for sure be back and use the same rental! The power did go out one night due to a quick storm and the owner contacted us to make sure we were okay and when the power was due to come back on so that was great! 10/10 stay "

The location of the property on the lake is close to the public boat launch which was extremely convenient, and the amount of private yard and beach was great for our family. "My husband, 25 year-old daughter and Irented this cottage for eight days due to its proximity to Traverse City but away from the hustle and bustle. Mickey Lake is absolutely precious with so much wildlife, including loons everywhere and bald eagles! It is a true classic cottage with many original features and overlooks the water, if you are looking for a waterfront getaway, you can’t get any closer than this! The beds were comfy and the linens clean the kitchen was well appointed. There was a dock with plenty of space for us to tie off our boat. The fire pit is right down by the waterfront and made for beautiful evenings, sitting and chatting. The gas grill worked great and there were plenty of closets to hang things up. If you are a boater look no further, there is a boat launch about a five minute walk down the street to launch your boat. The Wi-Fi worked great and plenty of comfortable seating in the family room and front porch. I highly recommend this beautiful little corner of Paradise!"

"The cabin was great. It was exactly as advertised. The best part of it was the view from the front window. It was such a peaceful setting on a lake. We enjoyed the Grand Traverse lighthouse, the Old Mission lighthouse, and Sleeping Bear Dunes National Lakeshore. We would stay there again."

"This was a lovely house. We loved being on Cedar Lake and the kayaks were our favorite outdoor activity. There's a fire pit by the lake. The pontoon ran with no problems. We did have to run the fan, as suggested, because the lower level was cold otherwise. We would stay there again if in the area."

"We absolutely loved our stay! The house was very clean, with comfortable beds and sofa. The pool table (though a little wobbly) was a nice bonus, but the big draw for us was the hot tub. If you're staying there in the winter, make sure you enjoy it. We went hiking on the Sleeping Bear Dunes and on a couple of other trails - so many options! And for a local treat, The Common Good Bakery is outstanding - it's about a 15-minute drive but 100% worth it. Thank you for making our stay so comfortable!"
