The best area to stay in Bukit Keliari is generally in and around the base of the mountain, particularly in the vicinity of the hotels and resorts that offer direct access to the mountain's attractions and the surrounding natural beauty.

For those looking for a luxurious stay with easy access to the mountain's hiking trails and panoramic views, the hotels situated closer to the summit cable car station are an excellent choice. These establishments often provide high-end amenities like infinity pools, fine dining restaurants, and rooms with stunning vistas. This area is superb for couples seeking a romantic getaway or solo travellers desiring a tranquil retreat with convenient access to nature.

Families often find the resorts slightly further down the mountain, but still within a short drive of the main attractions, to be a good fit. These resorts typically offer more spacious accommodation options, sometimes with family-friendly facilities such as kids' clubs or larger swimming pools.

The best time to go to Bukit Keliari is during the dry season, which typically runs from December to February. This period offers the most agreeable weather for exploring the area.
