I was super pleased when I got to this hotel. The location is perfect. Right on the Danube and right below the Castle. It’s right in the middle of all the attractions and things to do on the Buda side. It’s a quick walk across the Chain Bridge to the Pest side. The room was comfortable and had a private balcony with castle views. Bathroom was large and clean. It’s withing easy walking distance of many shops, restaurants and bars. The tram and subway stops are also close. Perfect stay!

Beautiful boutique hotel on the Danube

Excellent location with views across the Danube right next to the Chain bridge (Buda side). Very clean, fresh and spacious room with small balcony. Bed was quite firm but comfortable and that suited usEasy access to restaurants and most attractions. Staff are friendly, knowledgeable and very helpful. We hope to come back here on our next trip.

It is in a fantastic location at the base of the Buda mountain. It was an easy walk to the Chain Bridge (which is breathe taking at night). We walked up to the castle the night we arrived and felt totally safe walking after dark through the lane and alley ways. Would definitely recommend this hotel.

Chill or no thrill ....

Lanchid was an chill hotel when it opened. After ten years the hip is fading. The facade LED is aging and the lobby needs a wow factor to stay hip. Having said that, if you are simply looking for a nice personal hotel with great location, clean interior and good value, this is the perfect hotel for you. The room is spacious and if you book a river view room, the view is so spectacular you may not want to go outside. The receptionist is helpful to resolve whatever question you may have.

Super Lage, super Architektur. Alle hot spots der Stadt zu Fuss erreichbar. Tramstation vor dem Haus. Und doch sehr ruhig, Zimmer nach hinten sogar absolut still!

Great location, but the room service is eyebrow-rising. We had to ask for shampoo, the room was not vacuum cleaned uring our stay and from before... Strange to see this for such a price.

We had the panoramic suite overlooking river. It wasn't the one pictured on site(no glass partition). Staff were not very friendly. We only had breakfast once there during our 4night stay,one girl stood by door looking at her mobile phone, didn't even ask if we needed help or if everything was ok. Bar wasn't always manned. It is certainly not 4star. Jacuzzi bath in our room we only used once, due to when emptying it there was a lot of brown bits(dead skin!!!) left in bath, obviously it is not cleaned out enough!!! Would go back to Budapest but certainly not the Lanchid. The only thing that was excellent was the view!

Location was great, overlooking the river and easy access to the city. Reception staff let the place down a little - it wasn't busy checking out but still managed to make a hash of it! Rooms were clean and very comfy, breakfast was nothing groundbreaking but did the trick. All in though good value.
