I am adding the Hotel Gin to my repeat list. It’s a bit on the self-serve side, but everything is easy going and went smoothly. The accommodations were interesting, clean, and comfortable. Great location near shopping and major attractions. My only complaint is that the AC didn’t go low enough for the hot days of my summer visit to Budapest, but that’s probably due to EU regulations.

A lovely hotel just a couple of minutes walk from the centre of Budapest. Breakfast at Hotel Rum (just round the corner on the 7th floor with a cracking view over the city!) was lovely. The room was lovely and spotless. Would happliy stop here again.

I stayed three nights. The front desk was helpful and made check in easy. Housekeeping was prompt in the mornings and I came back to my room clean and reset each day, which was lovely. The hotel offers a breakfast option at Solid and each meal was delicious. Its located inna very walkable area, with sites, restaurants and shopping all easily accessible. I had a wonderful stay.

Hotel GIN is new and very well located for sightseeing Budapest. It’s is central yet quiet and you are always within 20 minutes of one site or another. Very good food spots too. The hotel is clean and well taken care off. I had issues with my first room and they changed it even upgraded me, no issues. I initially needed to cancel the booking due to unexpected ill health but they refused saying I had booked a non refundable room meanwhile all they offered on Expedia were the non refundable room. This put me off somewhat. That aside it was a lovely stay. I would recommend, they get shower caps, conditioners, slippers, robes in the hotels and replace the toilet paper daily as we ran out on our last day but other than that, very nice!
