An older hotel veey central in the town with shops nearby. Very clean rooms. No breakfast server but facilities where you can make your own toast and sandwiches. Very helpfull and friendly staff. All in all good value for money.
Great ensuite room, very clean and very quiet. The hotel is in the town centre so is very convenient for local amenities.

Very good value, spotless bathroom & bedding. Very comfortable bed, good lock on the door. The only draw back was the dirty carpet which was doable for 1 night. The shower eorked well & adjustable heating was nice & warm.

A bit in need of upgrade but clean and warm so good value,
Hotel was fine, staff were excellent. Read some bad reviews prior to visit but I found the hotel to be okay especially considering price and the staff to be very friendly, polite, helpful and professional.
Excellent ensuite room. Very clean and quiet. The hotel is located in the town centre so is very convenient for local amenities and attractions. Highly recommended.

Not the most extravagant of hotels but was of a good standard. Staff were friendly and helpful. Only down side was the that there was no facilities for food. Bed could be a bit more comfy.
The place was very friendly the receptionist saw that my partner was disabled and gave us room one instead of room 19 so grateful for that will stay there again when attending Refuel next year if my partner is with me

Stayed in here a couple of times it is clean and handy for what I need and priced properly but the bar in hotel has now closed
The Actual hotel was great and thankfully they had a room left for us at the last minute because although I'd booked it with hotels.com weeks before and it was coming up on my app that it was booked...got to the hotel and the booking hadn't actually went through...not too sure if i can trust them again
Everything you could expect from a stay and more! Everything was provided and very clean and comfortable, I'd highly recommend this if you're travelling on a budget. If you don't mind a bit of dated decor this place is excellent, zero complaints.
The front sign states restraunt and bar, neither is true.
I was asked to pay £10 a night for our dog stay, it was cash in hand to the owners wife for pocket money.
Owner not sociable or approachable.
Receptionist and cleaner were both very helpful and very friendly.
Big damp patch on roof above bed.
Business executive room was small double room.
I got the room because of the bath, i had recently had a major operation and needed to have a bath daily, only one day of hot water even after asking for it to be put on.
Heating was a joke.
Cleaning gets done at the end of the week when you leave, we had to ask daily for tea and coffee.
Shower constantly cold.
Parking was small and had several big works vans.
Owner invisible on daily basis behind clised door.
I would not recommend staying here.
Major concearn was that the fire door with sign "Keep closed" outside our room area was actually daily held open with a fire extinguisher.
Room was compact but clean and tidy. Toilet and shower area were the same.

Liked: Cleanliness, room comfort
Disliked: Property conditions & facilities
Comfortable rest, slightly shabby premises
TLDR: Clean room, sheets and bathroom; comfortable bed; easy access to town and sea view. Fine wifi. Nice manager, owner not so helpful. Zero breakfast facilities, front desk rarely manned. Interior and exterior in significant disrepair, most of which would be easily fixed. Price was excellent and dogs allowed!

This hotel does not have any food although there is a toaster and somecutlery if you want to make your own. The beds are clean and also the towels but plumbing is ancient and noisy. The shower was hot. It was very cheap.
Unfortunately i have nothing positive to say about Bickie or The old coach house! The lady that checked me in was very friendly and approachable she is only thing this hotel has going for it! No restaurant or bar even though its advertised to have both! Clean towels and bed linen. TV but never anything on! Its a shame as i was at this hotel over 10 years ago and it was good but not anymore.

The room was old and not very well insulated, but heating was good, bathroom was tiny but with hot water. The hotel is well located. You get what you pay for
Staff is amazing. Price is outstanding! We had a nice room...no grills but a modern TV I could html my computer to. Location is perfect for our needs. Dog friendly although when we booked there wasn't a way to tell them we were bringing our dog & there is a dog charge.. will definitely book again
