We notified in advance of our stay that we were not bringing our dog due to the heat and asked if the fee could be removed. Our question was never answered by VRBO or the property manager. Typically we have had a very timely response. The property is showing signs of age. Our unit was missing outside cushions and the stains on the cushions that we did have. Bryson City is such a welcoming and fun town to visit, especially when the magic of Christmas is in the air! Our stay at Stonewood Cabins was just perfect. Right in the heart of downtown, we could see the Polar Express train from our window, along with sights of the mountains and the river. The apartment was clean and well-equipped with a full kitchen, ample space to relax, and a very comfortable king sized mattress. The host was responsive and helpful.
