Brummen itself is a small village with an important location on the road from Arnhem to Zutphen. With the amount of cyclers in the Netherlands, it was a simple conclusion that a safe route from Brummen to Zutphen had to be created. In 2001 the Kwazenboschweg was created and cycling between Brummen and Zutphen became a safe option.
Since Brummen is quite small, it is recommended to visit some nearby cities as well. Whether you want to visit a bigger city such as Apeldoorn or a smaller one like Zutphen is completely up to you. Apeldoorn and Arnhem for example, are great for a day of shopping. They also offer many restaurants where you can grab a quick lunch or sit down to enjoy a delicious dinner.
