"Clean and comfortable. Convenient for town centre and for a walk on the the beach. Street parking available a very short distance away. Warm welcome at reception. Excellent food at the on-site restaurant. Excellent breakfast, with staff member Maureen providing a superb and enthusiastic level of customer service. Will be my first choice for accommodation on any future visit to the area."

"The room was very clean. Was a nice touch having biscuits on the tea tray. The staff were excellent. Special shout out to Michelle who made sure our stay was special. The breakfast was fantastic. Fresh fruit available. The hot stuff was good to perfection. We did have evening meals aswell which were also excellent and a great choice and really good value. Parking was available and if the car park was full, there is availability on the street"

"Stayed one night as was in Thurso for work. Beautifully decorated old building. Entire place was absolutely emaculate. Two stunning lounge areas which wouldnt look out of place in a palace. Loads of books, great sofas. Bed very comfy (loved the clan bedspread, excellent touch), sink in the room too which was a pleasant bonus (booked shared bathroom) Bit of an old-school toilet, as you'd expect, so be careful there. Very peaceful place, had a great night sleep. Breakfast great, the options are really extensive - set me up perfectly for a long journey onwards Host was lovely, attentive, but not overbearing - can tell she takes pride in what she does. Honestly couldn't really pick out a single fault with my stay. Would definitely book again and would highly recommend."
