"Room was clean & with lovely furnishings. Staff were excellent, friendly & helpful. Good choice for breakfast, eggs royale was lovely. Our dogs were welcomed & catered for. Some lovely sitting areas with comfy seats. A lovely place to stay with good amenities. Recommended."

"Tiny single room reminded me of student accommodation - bathroom better than the bedroom (& approx same size). Shabby carpet & stained wall. Cost £129 for one night room only mid week - overpriced & disappointing "

"Wonderful stay. Clean room (although strong smell of drains), very comfy bed. Great to have a bath and a separate shower. Food was amazing. Pork crackling, rump steak and seabass all cooked to absolute perfection. Cheeseboard taken to room was a great late night supper! Breakfast was superb. How they managed to get my poached egg transported up to the furthest room from the kitchen, and it still be perfectly cooked, amazes me! Every member of staff was friendly, efficient, polite and helpful. All are a credit to the Hall. Will certainly return as soon as finances allow! "
