"Very nice hotel and lovely place in the central of Bath"

"The staff was excellent. The hotel is a cool old building, glad it had a lift for taking our cases up. We had a 2 twin bedroom it was roomy enough, bathroom was clean and bright. The prices though were a bit high, parking 15 pound a day is ridiculous, and over 10 pound for a pint of lager. They can get away with this though because there are no other pubs close by. We walked down the big hill every day and then in the evening took the bus back up, super handy with the stop right in front of the hotel."

"Fabulous hotel and amenities. Spa facilities only available free to hotel guests 8-10am and 7-9pm, outside these times it’s £70 per person, which seems excessive, especially with room rates so high. A simple booking system would allow the spa to prevent overcrowding, without the high fees."

"We arrived late after a stressful journey and the hotel couldn't have been a better antidote. The room service was excellent, the food genuinely good, and the bath alone was worth the trip. The bed was incredibly comfortable and the surroundings were beautiful. We didn't get to experience everything the hotel has to offer, but what we did was enough to make us want to come back and do it properly. A genuinely restorative stay."

"Rooms I feel could do with a mini fridge, our room was on street level just away from reception which we were a bit worried about as a pub right across the path, but we were very surprised we did not hear anything from outside. As mentioned on other reviews service outside in the Bar area can be slow. Reception was very friendly but was a bit frustrated when checking out, we asked if we could have our room a little longer and was told no, but the lady beside me was agreed for another 2 hours. A lovely choice for breakfast, all freshly cooked and well presented. Overall a lovely stay, especially as it was a very hot bank holiday weekend"
