Amazing hotel and spa and have been a number of times. Stayed for two nights and had an amazing spa day with two treatments. Decided to upgrade to a superior garden twin room which was adequate but if I was being extra picky there are a couple of observations that would have improved the room itself. There was no safe or full length mirror and the wardrobe and draw space were tiny also there was nowhere to sit in front of a mirror to apply makeup and dry our hair. Always friendly welcome efficient staff nothing is a trouble attitude. Hotel is always clean and warm I stay here regularly when I can and it never falters

It was a fantastic little place and very welcoming on arrival. In fact, my partner thought it to be a suitable place to ask to marry him. There is a lovely garden where you can enjoy a nice cup of tea and then breakfast was incredibly generous. Would definitely recommend friends and family to stay and will be staying again myself if in the area:

Lovely rural location but easy access to Salisbury and Portsmouth plus very close to Peppa Pig World, if that's your thing. Rooms were lovely and the staff were very friendly and helpful. We ate at the Indian restaurant located next door and it was fantastic. Totally recommend the hotel and the restaurant.

Lovely welcome from reception- vip of the day was an amazing surprise - I’ve stayed in hotels all over the world and this tops the lot- fantastic view of the cricket ground. Bar and restaurant staff were all lovely and the food was delicious. Everywhere was immaculate .

Good stay

My room had everything in it I needed and was spotlessly clean with a comfortable bed and all new furnishings. The kitchen was amazing and there is also the use of the leafy rear garden. Monica the owner, was very precise in her instructions to self-check in and really takes pride in the house and makes sure all the guests are happy. The whole house smelt fresh and clean and was serviced every day. I will stay here again on my next visit as it was so much nicer than a hotel and is only 20...

Reception and restaurant staff were really helpful, friendly and Welcoming. Room was comfortable and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Will definitely be returning soon.

Lovely staff, very helpful. Small bathroom but it’s a bathroom and served it purpose. Although shower screen would have been more preferred than a shower curtain. Very hot weekend so AC was a godsend.

Only issue was Room was very cold on arrival and blankets should be in rooms as overnight with the thin quilts in the bed we found to be cold during the night.

We liked the security features of the property which we had no trouble with or understanding. The owner was very helpful. We liked the convenience of getting a bus - No17 - from Southampton railway station direct to virtually outside of the property. We liked being able to walk the short distance to and from Southampton University Hospital with relative ease. It's a very short walk to a Chinese takeaway - very nice food.
