About this property
Warren Dunes-2000 Acre Park On Lake Michigan, Hot Tub, WBFPL , Wineries, 2BR/2BA
The lodge backs up to a 2000 acre park called Warren Dunes that runs along Lake Michigan. The lodge is on the North end of the park with no parking lots on the lake so it is very private. The beach trail starts a few houses down at the end of Floral Lane. It is a beautiful hike to the beach over the dunes. The rooms in the lodge all open to a 66 foot long by 10 foot wide screened porch that houses the private hot tub and access to fenced yard and patio with fireplace pit. Also WBFPL in LR.
Located in Bridgman, this holiday home is near theme parks and on a river. Captain Mike's Fun Park and Chill Hill Winery are worth checking out if an activity is on the agenda, while those looking for area attractions can visit Waikiki Jacks and Weko Park. Round Barn Baroda Tasting Room & Estate and Free Run Cellars are also worth visiting. Enjoy the area's slopes with cross-country skiing, and don't miss out on the ice skating, sledging and snowmobiling. Visit our Bridgman travel guide

We loved our stay here! The kids didn’t want to leave. Perfect location if you want a relaxing beach trip and nice places to eat and get ice cream. The hot tub was a hit and place was nice and clean. The host was great with communication. We would love to come back!
Hot tub was wonderful after hiking the dunes! The home was perfect for our family Lego building weekend. Our dog really appreciated the yard and walks in the woods. We did find a couple of ticks on us after being in the woods, so bring repellant. The house was clean and comfortable.
The Host was an excellent communicator and any questions answered immediately. The home was updated and great for kids and a dog. It is not close to the beach but the drive is short to Weko Beach. The path can take you to the beach but it is s a hike getting there. Our only suggestion was that the window air conditioner panels need to be duck taped so no bugs get into the home. We recommend this home for a great stay at Warren Dunes.
We loved staying here! Patti was a great host, very accommodating and good communication. The proximity to the state park is everything. We’re looking forward to coming back :)
Extremely clean and efficient place for pver noghr stays close.to the beach!! Sjprt and beautiful walk to Lake Michigan via the dunes. Just beautiful! Wonderful fencing around the property. We would have given a 5 as an overall review if both bathrooms had fully workable showers and when I say workable shower the one with the beautiful tub does have a European style shower.. which is great for some people or tub users... but I like to stand so this is truly a preference and I also felt bad about getting the walls potentially wet as no protection nor shower curtain so I elected to take my travel friends advice, she offered to share her walk in shower. My dog just loved it!!! Thank you
This place was the perfect getaway for my girlfriend and I. We had a great time at the house and exploring around Bridgman and the surrounding towns. Walking down to the dunes was a great adventure. The house was very clean as well as the hot tub that we enjoyed every night. I would highly recommend this place to anyone!
This was a perfect location for us to drive to lots of wineries. We loved the hot tub! Patti was great with quick communication.

We enjoyed our stay at Bluejay Lodge. It was a great place to relax and unwind. The hot tub was wonderful and clean. It was even better that it was on a covered porch, we had rain and storms on and off come through, and were still able to use it when it rained. The temperature of hot tub was perfect. It is off a busy hwy, but in March noise was not bad at all. In my past experience, we have been notifiied of rental location the evening before or in the early morning of arrival. We were emailed around 1:30 pm the day of for a 4 pm check-in. I would have preferred earlier. Especially with drving from a distance. Overall, it was a lovely place to relax and unwind.
My daughter and myself spent great day's and nights thereand absolutely loved it! It's beautiful insideand we spent most of our time on the screened in front porch! The owner was wonderful working with me on everything, she was polite and kind! We'll be going back soon!
perfect location, very nice trails to Lake Michigan for dogs, it is a hike though.
very nice, not more than 10-15 minutes from family functions. saw sunsets twice. dogs did great, especially enjoyed the trails to lake michigan. little hiccup with family member needed to go to hospital....again great location hospital 10-15 minutes away.
Clean and comfortable. Could walk right to the dunes from our rental.
Home was very clean and spacious. There was lots of comfortable and private outdoor space. No fault to the host only to myself for not realizing it is right next to a busy highway. But there is a large privacy fence with a nice green space. The hot tub was clean and welcoming after hiking the dunes all day. There is so much to see and do around the area.
Close Proximity to Dunes with Great Outdoor Amenities
Partner and I stayed a few nights with our 2 dogs and had a great time visiting the Warren Dunes. Several trailheads are within walking distance. We found the dunes a bit challenging but the beautiful beach is so worth it!
The blue jay lodge has a wonderful hot tub on an enormous screened in porch.
The fully fenced yard was perfect for lounging by a fire with the dogs after a long day of hiking.

Cozy stay
Property was very clean. Nice fenced yard for pets.
Hot tub was well maintained.
Trail to beach was treacherous for older folk.
Worth the money to drive to park area.
No check out instructions.
Overall nice experience and would rebook.
The house was everything our small family of 3 plus a dog could need! We were very comfortable in our rooms and the usage of the kitchen was great. We spent much time out on the long, covered porch and in the hot tub! Only complaint is proximity to Red Arrow Highway and noisy cars. However, the noise wasn't terrible at night when we were mainly at the house and it's location did make it easy to get to the grocery store and downtown Bridgman. House could use a deep clean, I wasn't by any means uncomfortable, but the inside of the drawers were dusty and shampoo/conditioner/shower gel in the shower didn't feel clean enough to use, luckily I brought my own. All in all, we would definitely visit again. Thank you for your quick responses and flexibility as well, Patti!
Family of 3 stayed in mid August for 4 nights. Loved the area and beaches were fantastic. My son and 2 dogs loved the fenced in yard and the hot tub was wonderful. The acces to the beach was definitely too advanced for my 2 year old but we knew that coming in. Plenty of beaches nearby that are lovely and dog friendly. And loved being close to St. Joseph for fun day trips.
The property could use a little care, some new interior wall repair and the master bathrooms towel rack was ripped off the wall. The air filter was visible through the vent and definitely in need of changing. I'm might be a clean freak so some areas set me off and could really use a more thorough scrub down. But overall we had a blast.
We really enjoyed our stay. The covered porch was awesome, the hot tub felt great, and the fireplace was warm and cozy. The beds were comfortable, and the host was very accommodating. Overall, a very relaxing place to stay.
