"I knew this would be a basic room in a "budget hotel". I just needed somewhere close to Edinburgh Airport for a morning flight.
I just did not think it could be so basic.
On arrival the reception lobby and hallways reeked of smoke.
The room was old and very verytired, a bit like me.
However, one power socket, ( no USB), one light for the whole room, one plastic chair, one chap hook for a towel and one shabby broken bedside cabinet...
Not so pleasant..
On the plus, side, the beddings were clean and fresh.."
