The loveliest Bed & Breakfast you can find
If you are in search of a New England Bed & Breakfast as I was (because I was a huge Gilmore Girls fan), this is it! I travelled all over the world mostly in corporate hotels and amazing resorts and this is not that. Marco welcomes you personally while Angelo is in the kitchen either baking you are afternoon sweets or preparing your breakfast. They are kind and welcoming and you can see of every detail that they love what they are doing. I am convinced that Angelo's secret ingredient is "love". The ingredients are so fresh and we devoured every plate they served us. There is so much love and care poured into this little establishment, it is just such a pleasure to see. We can't wait to go back....

Absolutely fantastic! Everything from the room, linens, the relaxed feeling of the entire inn, close proximity to the Cape Cod Rail Trail, the intriguing Breakwater Beach a short distance away were all perfect! The friendly atmosphere that Angelo, Marco and their entire staff provide is fantastic! Starting our day off with the incredible, delicious breakfast that Angelo prepares for each guest! Served with care by Marco and the entire staff, a perfect start to the day of exploring Cape Cod! Angelo then bakes up scrumptious afternoon treats! We look forward to returning to the Candleberry Inn!

The owner/manager of the Candleberry Inn could not have been nicer, more accommodating, or helpful. The place was decorated so perfectly and there were such nice touches. There were delicious chocolates on our bed, snacks in the afternoon that they even made gluten free for me (I have celiac disease), and a delicious breakfast every day.

A must stay venue
We travelled from Pennsylvania and this was my first visit to the Cape. The wealth of extremely positive comments concerning the Candleberry Inn and its proprietors is absolutely true. It is a lovely experience, is well-managed, with thoughtfully appointed rooms, a responsive wait staff, an artfully constructed and delicious breakfast and inviting outdoor venues. We will return.

We liked everything! The Inn itself is tastefully decorated and with lovely artwork. The rooms/beds are comfortable and beautifully furnished. The bathrooms are impeccable….newly renovated. The yard and gardens flourish with a variety of flowers and plants. Breakfasts are creative, artistic, delicious. Marco and Angelo, the owner innkeepers, couldn’t be more hospitable and attentive. Bravo on all counts!

Amazing weekend getaway
Our stay was absolutely amazing and would recommend to anyone!! The host was so friendly, the room updated and cozy, the breakfast DELICIOUS, and gardens so relaxing to sit in. It’s a great location close to beaches and restaurants!

Would definitely return
Marco was a great host. He was very hospitable, friendly and gave us a warm welcome. The accommodation was very cozy and clean. We were provided with a delicious home made breakfast with fresh baked goods. I would definitely recommend this place. If you are looking for a spacious room and a lot of space and privacy. This is probably not for you. But otherwise I would highly recommend.

The inn had a wonderful ambiance. The innkeeper Marco was very friendly and responsive. The breakfast was creative, with homemade ingredients, and beautifully plated. The garden view from the breakfast patio was beautiful and calming. The location is good - short bike ride to the Cape Cod Rail Trail, short drive or walk to the beach.

Great place to stay! My husband and I were a little worried about vacationing during the pandemic. But, we were put at ease when we read about the policies the innkeepers (Marco and Angelo) put in place during COVID-19, and the overall cleanliness of the inn and our room. The gourmet breakfast and afternoon treats were delicious! It's one of the things we look forward each day. The amenities were great! Since a lot of the restaurants are already fully booked, we're fortunate to have our own private patio to dine in. The innkeepers and the staff were very helpful and friendly. Overall, it was a great experience!

The property is beautiful with a lot of history, Marco's welcome was warm and charming and our room was immaculate and well appointed. Loved the fact that amongst the antiques, the modern traveller is well catered for with USB and phone chargers by the bed. Two armchairs in the room to relax in was great as well. The fresh afternoon treats were lovely and the coffee station provided was well catered. The lounge area is inviting. Marco was a fount of useful information. Breakfast was amazing with charming service.

There was a lot of attention to detail all the little things in the room USB next to the bed night light in the bathroom nothing was too much trouble for the hosts and the set breakfast they provided was so so good with a different twist everyday and homemade goodies every afternoon

Everything and everyone at Candleberry was amazing. Marco was so solicitous about our every need. He went above and beyond to make sure that we were happy. Our morning breakfast was delicious, fresh and simple ingredients made to order. They accommodated my gluten sensitivity, even making special cookies! Beautiful room, comfortable and spacious. I could keep on going..just perfect

The property position is great for exploring cape cod and there is a magnificent beach within a short walk. The staff were unbelievably attentive and polite and everything about the place is immaculate. The breakfast food presentation would not be out of place in the best hotels in Knightsbridge or Manhatten!

The breakfast was delicious and different every day!! Marco and Angelo are excellent hosts. They offered great information about sightseeing on the Island which allowed us to make the most of our first trip to the Cape. The gardens are beautiful too. Truly a fabulous place to stay.

A beautiful property with amazing attention to detail. We were spoiled by the two-course breakfasts. They were the best we have ever had anywhere. Each staff member was very personable and the owner was a superb host with a warm and engaging personality.
