"Although we experienced some issues during our stay at The Delaware Hotel, I am very appreciative of how management ultimately responded and addressed our concerns. After sharing our experience, I received thoughtful and sincere responses from both the Director of Operations and the new General Manager. I was especially impressed with the new General Manager’s professionalism, transparency, and genuine concern. Rather than simply offering an apology, they took the time to acknowledge our experience, explain the circumstances surrounding the initial communication, and make a meaningful effort to resolve our concerns. I truly believe that how a business responds when something does not go as planned can be just as important as the experience itself. In this case, management demonstrated that they value their guests and take feedback seriously. Their response went a long way toward changing my overall impression of our experience. The Delaware Hotel is a beautiful historic property with tremendous character, and I sincerely appreciate the care and attention management showed in following up with us. Based on the way our concerns were ultimately handled, I feel much more positive about the hotel and wish the new General Manager and the entire team continued success moving forward."

"We were in Leadville for a wedding. We had 3 generations of family staying in the top house and friends staying in the apartment below. Having run of the entire house was perfect for the kids. The adults would gather at the kitchen table every morning and review the day's activities. At night we would gather at the kitchen table for the 411. Centrally located two blocks from the Freight where the wedding reception was held, it was the perfect spot. The views from the family room/kitchen were spectacular. The property manager was awesome. Great place for a great trip!"

"We needed a place to stay for the weekend. We also needed space for two families. It’s hard to find a good place to stay in Leadville. This was perfect for us and the newest/cleanest place we have stayed in Leadville."

"Nice layout and comfortable for our group. This is a very old house which comes with a lot of character. The stairs to the upper bedrooms are quite steep, so be aware. Also, creeky floors and doors, but like I said, character! We would come back."

"The property was as pictured, a built out and renovated light filled 2 bdrm basement unit a mere 10 minute walk from the heart of downtown. It had a well stocked kitchen, comfortable beds and great WiFi (I had a Zoom meeting so wifi was important). After payment and before receiving the checkin code I was required to sign an unusually through rental agreement. Where the hosts could enter the unit if and as needed with or without notice, we could be evicted from the unit if we had guests (like the older and mellow friends we met in Leadville over for a meal), and the like. I wish the contract was disclosed before I paid a nonrefundable fee for the rental. While the unit was great, the contract was over the top."
