Enjoy Our New House In Historic Leadville, including your pets.

Built in 2014, Withering Heights, located at 529 E. 9th Street is only 5 blocks from main street. Withering Heights is ready for you, your friends, family and pets as a home base for nearly every outdoor activity you can imagine. The house has a fully equipped kitchen, 1 and 1/2 baths, two bedrooms and a loft. There are beds for 8 people.
The master bedroom has a king sized bed on main level. The loft has one queen, one double futon, and one single bed. Also in the loft is a large enclosed bedroom with king bed and a balcony and a view of Turquoise Lake.
The walkout level ($150 extra/night) had one bedroom with queen bed, daybed with a trundle, full bath, living room with TV and kitchenette.
Withering Heights has an oversize attached two car garage, a smart flat screen TV and cable, WiFi, and gas logs for that cozy cabin feel.

We stayed here as a family of four and it was an excellent Leadville base. The home was comfortable and practical for winter—fully equipped kitchen for meals, good Wi-Fi, and the gas fireplace made the evenings cozy. The oversized two-car garage was especially helpful for loading/unloading gear and keeping things out of the snow. The location is also very convenient, just a short walk/drive from Leadville’s Main Street and nearby attractions. Communication with the owners was great — Stephen & Ginger were very responsive and promptly answered our questions. We’d definitely book again.

This is such a cute, cozy place to stay in Leadville! Beds are comfortable, and we loved having the garage to park the car since it was very cold while we were there. Would definitely stay again!

Perfect Leadville Location

If you're looking for a large, comfortable house in the perfect location in Leadville, this house is the one. Literally a 5-minute walk from all the main hotspots downtown, but also very private and quiet.

Wonderful family get away

Withering Heights was excellent for our family vacation. Beautiful views, comfortable home, easy walk to town and all the 10k adventures of Leadville. Bonus was having an absolutely perfect view of the 4th fireworks from the deck. The host and property manager were great to work with.

Great Spot

We had a great stay here with 2 pups in tow. The house was well-equipped and everything was as-pictured. I tend to pick vacation rentals based on 'this would be a nice spot to read a book' and both the deck and the living area did not disappoint. Wouldn't hesitate to stay here again!

This was the perfect amount of space and the right price for 2 adults who wanted separate bedrooms and one large dog. The house was super clean, there were clear instructions for how to work everything, and the location was perfect. Highly recommend!

Another great stay!

This is our second time staying at this lovely cabin. Everything we possibly needed was at our fingertips and the beds were all comfortable. Two of our kids took snowboarding lessons a quick 15 minutes away at Ski Cooper (best place ever for ski or snowboarding lessons!), while two other family members used their ski passes at Copper Mountain (about 30 minutes away). The cabin was warm and comfy to come back to each evening. We look forward to staying again!

Long week end of hiking between friends

My friends and i stayed at this rental for a hiking week end close to leadville! The house was spacious, very well located and an awesome base to hike in the area. I ll would without a doubt rent that house again!

Our family enjoyed our stay, the place is super clean and well stocked, especially for children with high chairs, toys, gates for the stairs and patio area as well as a pack and play. My 2 yr old niece was in heaven. Great location, right up the hill from the Main Street. Owners were responsive and very nice. We rented both parts of the house and were pleased with our stay, we will be back!

Great location for a ski weekend!

We had a pleasant stay as we travelled with 3 adults, 3 teens and a child for a long ski weekend. The deck was a bonus as we enjoyed spring skiing in Feb and utilized the deck back at the house. This is our 2nd time renting. WiFi was spotty and the house has definitely shown some wear (including bed linens and towels) but otherwise accommodated our group. Thank you!

We were very happy with this home. It was a great location to downtown for dinner, shopping and grocery store. It was a great location to Ski Cooper about 15-20 minutes. The views were nice and enjoyed the sunlight. We appreciated being able to use the garage. So many extras in the home you don’t see at other rentals. The home was clean and sleeping was comfortable.

Great Base Camp for Fat Bike Worlds

Loved Leadville, loved the house. A friend and I visited to participate in Fat Bike Worlds. Both being outdoor recreation enthusiasts, we appreciated easy access to trails, and town. We walked to restaurants. The house is as described, great views, great place. Definitely hope to be back.

Perfect home on the outskirts of town

My husband and I came to Leadville for the Leadville 100 run. This spacious home is in a great location just on the edge of town - nice and peaceful. We stayed for 5 nights with our 2 friends. We really enjoyed the deck and the views of the mountains. The home had everything we needed and the 2 car garage was a nice bonus. The owners were so kind and reached out to wish my husband luck in running the race. We would definitely stay here again.
