"There were several takeaways nearby, and a cafe but otherwise not much shopping. A small co-op about 15 minutes walk away and a mini sainsburys 20 minutes walk. On the other hand the bus stop was right outside and the tram stop only 5 minutes walk so easy to get to the city centre. But the key problem was communication with the owners. "Wonderful heritage hotel in central Machester, great location with nearby parking. Great breakfast options - was a busy sitting so we didn't realise there was a specialist egg chef available, but great selection of buffet hot and cold breakfast food & drink. Really lovely friendly helpful staff."

"The unique thing about this property was the location, location, location! You can literally walk anywhere. I suggest the bus because it’s cheaper or you can walk. The food and convenience is the best. The room is big but the bathroom is nice but it reminds me of cruise bathrooms but fancier. The Serta mattress top tier and I slept well. Make sure you have your key card to use for the elevator and turn the lights on in the room (which reminds me of a cruise). The light white switch by the outlets will allow you to use the power or your adapter. Please inform people in advance to register for check-in. That last minute part when you’ve been waiting for some hours can be annoying. Other than that all was well!"

"We went outside on the patio to enjoy a drink in the sun. I went inside to order some drinks and was told you have to use the QR code to order. But since i was their the waiter took my order but informed me this was an exception. How stupid is it to expect guests to download or scan QR codes just to order drinks and a meal. Do they expect OAP;s to do downloads or scans. Very poor customer relations in this hotel as everything is automated, from check in, to check out, to ordering meals and drinks outside."
