Located in the beautiful Summit Estates on just over two private acres, Alpenglow Peaks Lodge offers the privacy plus panoramic mountain views of the Ten Mile Range and ski slopes. With a short drive to the town of Breckenridge. This 4,360 square-foot luxury home has been remodeled with a modern rustic feel. The great room on the main level features a large stone gas fireplace, a big-screen TV, large windows, and comfortable leather couches to sink into and enjoy your family and friends. The great room flows into the kitchen, making this a beautiful entertaining space with exposed beams and wood floors. The large gourmet kitchen is a cook's dream with Wolfe appliances, custom cabinetry, a gas range, double ovens, walk-in pantry, and an island with four counter stools. Enjoy your morning coffee looking out to the woods from a breakfast nook off the kitchen that seats six guests. An elegant dining table seats eight in an open-concept area that is perfect for entertaining. Walk out onto the large, secluded deck with a private outdoor hot tub. In warmer months, enjoy dining al fresco and the wonderful mountain views from the home’s deck furniture, including a large dining table, rockers and lounge chairs. In summer, explore the nearby trails right from the house. Opposite the main living space, guests will enjoy the custom bar area in the den with TV and seating. This continues through to a bathroom with a shower that is used by a connecting king bedroom. The primary king suite is on the upper level, with a gas fireplace, great views, and a beautiful soaking tub in the ensuite bath, surrounded by private wooded views. The upper level also features a bedroom with one queen and one twin bed. This bedroom uses a hall bathroom. Movie and game night begin in the lower-level family room, complete with comfy couches, and a flat-screen TV. A king room and bunk room are nearby and share a hall bath. The bunk room features a twin over queen bunkbed. Other amenities include a laundry room on the upper level and a 2-bay garage with parking for additional vehicles in the driveway. 4-WHEEL DRIVE REQUIRED during winter months. SHUTTLE This home enjoys complimentary use of the Moving Mountains shuttle, mid-November through mid-April, using the convenient shuttle app to schedule pickups. We had everything we needed to cook all meals and everyone ended up gathering around the kitchen island each night. We even saw a fox out the kitchen window one morning!The staff was responsive. The comfortable, high quality leather furnishings were pretty childproof and we didn't have to worry about our two and five-year-olds. Huge windows give unobstructed views of the mountains. Just breathtaking! The kitchen is well-equipped with utensils and cookware. We had everything we needed to cook every meal, including a large gas grill. The beds are all comfortable and the linens are high quality. The bathrooms, like the rest of the house, were spotless. The grounds are well-maintained and the hot tub is large and immaculate. The one note for midsummer users is the deck. It faces south and has no shade at all, and the Colorado sun is fierce. We couldn't use the deck after the morning heated up. The management company provided all of the information needed to make getting into the house easy and contact-free. ##### W L W. Reviewer Comments: We brought a group of 12 adults to stay at the Alpenglow Lodge for 4 nights in April, and everyone just loved the place. I've already received several emails from our group asking if we can book the same place for same time next year! The bedrooms are spread out over 3 floors so we didn't feel cramped in. Bedrooms were beautiful, and beds all comfortable. We spent a ton of time in the hot tub, even with snow still on the deck. The place is beautifully decorated. And the views from the windows and deck are to die for! The kitchen is very well stocked - we did a lot of in-house cooking for the 12 of us, and there were plenty of pots, pans, utensils and everything we needed; double ovens and an enormous fridge were also helpful. Staff were great on check in, and the free shuttle service was useful and on time. We don't have anything negative to say about the wonderful place! ##### Karen M.
