"Really friendly, cheerful and helpful staff. Good atmosphere. Large old building, our room was recently updated and was modernised nicely and spotlessly clean. It was very big but still warm with very large comfy bed and powerful shower. TV & Kettle in the room with normal sachets of tea/coffee etc Good breakfast offering kept warm and you could ask for GF bread, cereal and freshly made scrambled eggs. Nice coffee too. I liked the fact there seemed to be little waste as the offering wasn’t too broad. Free parking. Situated opposite a golf course. Would definitely stay again."

"Perfect place to stop over for one night for the recent Radio 2 in the park gig. I was travelling solo so I didn’t really get to check out the amenities as I just needed a bed to stay in for the night. It’s clearly an olde worlde hotel which must have seen lots of swish parties over its time, it’s a little bit dated in areas but tbh I thought it was perfect for what I needed. The room (211) was clean and the bed was comfy and I even had a tiny view of the mountains through a gap in the building! I slept well & enjoyed the tea and coffee. My only downside was that I couldn’t get wi-fi at all in my room. I tried a million times but no luck.. I think the room was in a blackout area, I had to sit on the stairs to ring my dad!! Also, going back down to the car park late at night there was no light in the corridor so I had to feel my way outside! However, I’m not going to end on a negative note. Overall my experience was really positive. The staff couldn’t have been more helpful & the location was right in the middle of Stirling so I’d def recommend it as somewhere to stop over briefly! I’d definitely choose to stay here again when I return to Stirling. Thank you to all the staff. Naomi :)"

"The property was very clean and centrally located to everything in sterling. All the staff was friendly and very accommodating. The only small thing that could be improved on is the lighting in the room and bathroom. There needs to be a light over the bathroom mirror. Overall this was a great place and I would stay there again."

"Very clean parking free couldnt fault the staff even helped us out when we had a flat tyre by lending us her personal air pump so we could inflate tyre & help us on our way,SO A BIG THANKYOU. Will deffo stay again if in area."

"The castle atmosphere was wonderful and the setting was beautiful. Bus to Stirling was convenient at the corner. The bartender was terrific and so was the food"
