"A lovely property which is well situated. It had everything we needed. Unfortunately there is a lot of noise transfer from the apartment above. When I tried to contact the owner it took 4 days to get an answer, despite me using the numbers provided. Overall we enjoyed our stay but would definitely stay in the top apartment next time."

"Firstly, this was the comfiest bed we've ever slept in. Comfy and cosy little escape which we really enjoyed. Used as a base for a few days to visit and perforn at the Edinburgh Festival Fringe, which was only 25 minutes away by train. The decor of the property was tasteful and the whole feeling was one of private seclusion despite being in a fairly busy area. Kitchen had everything you need for knocking up a quick meal, and the welcome pack of teas and coffees was welcome. Would recommend."

"Didn't get to stay at the apartment because of storm Babet. Travel was cancelled so we didnt make it. We asked for a possible refund and hotels tried to help but the owners dud not respond. We booked for two nights "

"Very nice and spacious living space that was clean and well kept. About a 10 to 15 minute walk to the central part of Bridge of Allan with its shops and restaurants. Jane and her lovely dog Ivy were exceptional hosts."

"My husband and I stayed at this lovely apartment for 6 nights while visiting Scotland. Very clean and well decorated. The kitchen was well stocked, and hosts provided some basic foods for breakfast (coffee, eggs, bread and juice) . Stirling and Doune castles are a must. Not suitable for people with mobility problems, as there are quite a few stairs."

"The pod was more than we had hoped for, comfortable fully equipped nothing left to chance. In a quiet well maintained are with outdoor seating and table. Inside a comfortable bed, excellent shower (Despite my pet hate of electric showers this one actually worked with good pressure and heat ) The whole place was immaculate with a microwave, kettle, toaster and two rings for cooking, plus my wife's favourite a Teapot. "Much as I would love to tell you how good the Clacks was I cannot. It looks good in the pictures and looks good from outside. Unfortunately due to some mix up I could not gain access, this after a 200 mile drive. I phoned the owner, luckily his number was in the details, and he told me The Clacks will remain shut for months and that hotels.com had not notified him of any booking. Left with a 'where will I sleep?' dilemma the owner more than went out of his way to find us another property to...

"The property was in a lovely location and handy for local amenities! Very quiet and lovely to sit outside and listen to the bagpipes on a morning! The only down side was the drive down to the property and the potholes if they were filled in it would have been a much easier drive in and out. "
